The trouble with the written word…

I did not mean the mod looked ugly. I thought it was rather nicely designed. But it was pretty obvious to me that the test unit had been dropped and banged around. I figured that was the reason he didn't want the test unit shown, because it was all beaten and battered not that it was not well made.

You are so right about the written word.I have seen this time and time again.I took no offense at all.So you were right about the whole thing lol.I just didn't want a pick of a unfinished beat up mod to be shown.I want to present the mod when it is ready shined up and anodized.

After 6 months of trial and error, I'm starting to question whether or not vaping is going to be the answer to not going back to analogs. It has to be. I don't want to deal with all the carcinogens, taxes and most of all the health issues that analogs cause. The Reo may be the answer for me. But, there's still so much to learn. So, in anticipation, I'm ordering 510 LR-EM5 attys from EM and I need to order 14500 and 18650 batts and a charger (hopefully, a multi-charger.

What batts/charger are most effective, reliable, dependable, have true ratings and perform best overall? TrustFire? UltraFire? AW? Tenergy? I'm leaning toward AW Protected 3.7V Li-Ion 14500, either 900 mAh or 750 mAH.

Looking forward to ordering Robert's mods and vaping with confidence.

To me this is a selling point? It just means its durable.

If I dropped or banged around my other e-cigs I'm pretty sure they'll look worse than that (I still think the Mini looks awesome).

It'll go well in my toolbox when I'm working my cars.

AW high drains are the best IMO. No worries about mah ratings or having enough power to the atty. 18560s last me all day plus.

Have you got arthrog locked in a cupboard after posting that pic Robert lol haven't seen the guy since, hope the button is withstanding lots of vaping abuse, would hate to see any setbacks at this point
I just yelled at him lol.He has been at me to build a tiny travel mod for a long time I think he just got excited and wanted to share his new toy.The button works great.Just waiting for some of these to be anodized.Everything is going smooth. This has taken much longer then I had anticipated with some machinery setbacks.I have learned some valuable lessons myself .I no at this point I sound like a broken record I apologize to everyone.

I think you missed my original post to which the bit you quoted from me was my followup to that original. I originally made the comment that I guessed he didn't want a pic of the sample shown because it was ugly or beat up or somesuch. Folks took what I'd originally written to mean I thought the mod design was ugly where I was talking about how abused that particular sample was. I then noted that even though it looked bad you could see it can take lots of abuse and keep working.

So I clarified which was my 'problem with the written word' post you quoted. So once again the problem with the written word…

;)

Awesome news Robert, not that you yelled at arthrog (LOL) but that things are coming along with the mini!!!

Are some colors going to be available before others? If so, I'm not going to be picky about a color. I want me a mini so bad I really don't care about color at this point. :)
Hey Maam well the polished aluminum will be available first of course.I will no more tomorrow witch colors will be ready first.I love the polished mod.I do find I am always rubbing it to remove the finger prints. One of the down sides of a shiny polished mod. I can say with confidence that i will have some of these ready to ship out next week

LoL quote of quotes. Well I guess at the end we're in agreement and that means we're pals now?

I wasn't trying to argue with you just saying look at how awesome it seems to take abuse. I'll take durability over aesthetics any day of the week.

Plus I'm sure with a good metal polish you can clean it till pristine.

Gargh hate work. Sorry that came out of nowhere.

Bump Bump!!

I got a question for ya Red how big is the well on the Mini can you fit a qtip down in to clean out excess juice?

On the Reg Reo i usually just grab a small qtip and clean it out at the end of the night
Its a native 510 connection you wont have to clean it out.The atomizer will draw any excess juice into the atomizer. The well on the mini could be cleaned with a q tip easily if you wanted to give it a wash.same size inside dimensions as the reo as far as the width. The mini well isn't as deep.I almost think you could run this thing through the dish washer.Maybe I will test that out lol
