Happy Birthday to you Kargonet.
It is my oldest daughter's Birthday today to, she is 23 now, making me feel old LOL.

Thank you very much, it's been a great birthday for sure. Got my Grand and all the accessories as well as a purple Otterbox for my iPhone4. Lunch with my BFF and my family took me to Logan's for my favorite salad and more than a few laughs.

Congrats to your daughter, she sounds like a very talented young lady.

Thanks , she is a great artist. She is mostly into the deviant art scene and anime stuff. We got her art supplies and a new phone for her birthday. Now she has to finish my new avatar hehehe.

That sounds like our little one...the 13 year old. She loves to draw. She had some money from my Mom and she bought dry erase markers and a board so she could draw and color. She's occupied for hours with it.

Yay I should have my Grand tomorrow !!! Last check of the usps it is in Tampa , which means tomorrow in my language LOL.

I also got my nifty dual screen e-reader thing yesterday and it is pretty awesome. Actually it is more awesome then I thought it would be. I really didn't get my hopes up on this one after giving one away and sending another back. I think I may keep this one. Hubby will be very happy that I am happy, since I will finally shut the heck up about my Grand getting here and my e reader LOL

No, I'm sorry, I should have said I have one coming. Trust me, if it were here TNT and I would be posting pics and thank yous all over the place then we'd have to take a day off, strictly for experimentation of course.

I'm sure it'll be here next week along with our T-tips, Rob's LR attys, battery cases and Gourmet Vapor juices to try.

Haha, you sound like me. That's great that your pad works well for you! It can be such a pain trying to find the device that does all you want it to, especially since they are so expensive. Woot! Crossing my fingers for your Grand!

The 23 yr old is mostly a pencil artist, then she colors in photoshop. My 14 yr old is obsessed with dry erase markers and boards and the 4 yr old is all about the water colors now. My bonus kids aren't really very artsy at all.

Yes the one I gave to my daughter was the most expensive, a tablet netbook, I should have just bought the ipad at that point LOL. I was going to return it and get an ipad, but I thought she would like to draw on it but Noooo! She likes her pencils. The other one was ok, but just would not stay connected to my router.
This one is really cool because I can actually take notes and journal on the e ink side and save them to pdf , while surfing on the other side. My only complaint about it so far is minor, is that it doesn't access the google market which is the android version of the app store. I have to go find what I want and download it on the computer and then try to install it via memory card. The app store that comes with it has a ton of books but a whopping 68 apps LOL. I do already have the most used or important apps installed, so I am pretty happy.
Tomorrow I will take pics of it with my Grand when it gets here , after I try it out of course .

That is soo cool...since you brought it up I've been looking at all the options and I'm amazed. Been kinda out of the loop I guess. I'm using my laptop, blackberry and a desk top...but sheesh, why do I want one of these?!?
