I used to selective log with Clydesdales we'd fall select trees in woods then draft the logs out to a main road where we could skid them with a skidder. Less disruption to the forest that way.
Well I thought I'd check in and get in on the vet theme with my favorite horse of my boyhood. Night folks...and thanks for the kind words to Jennifer. We needed to reminder her we take care of our own.

Only logging operation I saw up close and personal was a helicopter logging gig because the terrain was too dangerous to haul heavy equipment to. That was a trip! Horses would definitely be cooler.

I had the joy of being around these beautiful, noble horses, at a friend's ranch, north of Santa Fe.They had one in Fort Worth, for a while, and I spent the day riding bareback, after many years not riding, and with "atrophied" bareback muscles.

Morning Karen, hope you had a good night, went to bed at 10, slept well but woke up at 4 this morning.
Morning Jeni! I got a good nights sleep, here at work so I go to bed at 10 and up at 6. Weekends are hard, I find myself keeping weird hours and not getting much sleep at all!
