Me too. Makes me proud that I've done some small rescues over the years, dogs mostly but also a parrot that was to be killed cuz it had no toes to perch or eat with. Most recently a dog to fill the void left from losing my beloved Lizzie last month. God bless those who REALLY pitch in for the animals large and small who need safe haven at the least and a loving family/home at the most.

I hope you are having an enjoyable time. I know it is work, but the atmosphere there can be overwhelming. Just think this should be your last trip without a Woodvil!!!

on a happy note, I am probably just a few days away from my first REO. Woodvil, here I come!

thank god. I am tired of dripping. Especially in pubic places.

I know I have been here so many times for work. This place is almost unexplainable to people who have not been here. It is not like anywhere else.

It takes a special person to take in the needy animals. It has always been something I choose when I could. With my allergies I have developed over the last 10 years it is impossible for me to now have cats or dogs. My ferrets are about the only things with fur that I can even touch. But we can all do a little part in providing to the rescue organizations. They always need old worn towels and blankets. Cleaning products are welcome too at most. There is always some way that help can be given to those in need. Animals, or human!

Seven years I spent there! It is not too bad when you leave the strip area. I lived about 5 miles away and never went in that direction. It is nice though when living there to have lots of choices for a special occasion. And the buffets are a great deal for meals. It was cheaper to eat out than stock groceries!

I like, Shiloh, Liam, Keagan,................ I could go on
er...how do you pronounce Gatlin?

My other neighbor, not Chaco's family, their youngest and still at home but in college, is Katelin (Catelin), pronounced with a long A, like in Kate, because of the E, so Gatlin, would have an A like that in "cat." Like the name, btw. What would he be called for nickname?

Want to ask a favor, please. Today is going to be another long day, away from home and computer. I turn tomorrow and I haven't made any preparations, like posting in appropriate forum(s). I'd love to keep the "horse" theme. bjannr's turning honor was short notice, at least for me, and I love the horse avatars and discussions.

Can someone please assist me with this?

Thanks and loads of love, Alice

For those of us who quilt...they also love donations of cage sized quilted pads. Make with low loft batting for ease of laundering.
