How do everyone?

I have a question about uploading photos. Does the ECF site resize photos to fit within our posts? I take between 5mb and 16mb size photos and I've been looking everywhere that I can think of to find out if we have to resize our photos or if the ECF has a resizing algorithm set up to automatically resize our photos. Any help would be most appreciated as I finally have some snaps of my REO in its natural habitat.

I usually upload my pics onto photobucket and copy/paste the img code into the message box. Didn't know how to upload pics when I first got started in my car forum or forums in general but since then. I've become a freaking pro LOL.

Hi guys....finally caught up and I gotta head to bed again. Just finished working at 11pm again...I'm pooped.

Wingapo...there is a MB restriction....photos that size would fill up your allotment quickly. Photobucket or some other photo hosting site is really your best bet for posting awesome pics. Just copy and paste the IMG code right in the text box. :)

Okay...off to bed. :(
Feel better soon, Alice! We miss you!

*edit....I don't sleep as much as I would like, Bill.

Thanks Wash, too bad I don't have a Photobucket account. I've always been more of a print guy so I'm used to doing everything from files on my computer. I do have a facebook account that has thousands of shots but I like to keep my shots and interests separate. I was wondering about if I had to resize my shots before I upload them or if ECF has an integrated algorithm that resizes photos as they are being uploaded. Some of my shots can get ridiculously large when I do panoramas and I really like Facebook as it will resize my up to 3GB images down to what works on Facebook without me having to fiddle with photos once I'm done editing. To be safe I just decided to resize everything to fit within a 640x640 border. I hope it's good enough for the ECF.

Hey Lisa, how's it going. Looks like you worked for a while. Get some sleep and have a good night.

So I've got to join Photobucket to be able to load photos on ECF. Guess I have to go join Flicker soon. I've been avoiding that for over a year now. I like to keep my interests separate.

I find it's the best way to post pics on forums. You might know another way since you seem to be pretty proficient with a computer.

Just out of curiosity, what's wrong with photobucket and Flicker? If you don't mind me asking.

Too much to remember. A friend talked me into joining Facebook last year and now I've got a bunch of people who like seeing snaps of my backyard and posting hundreds of photos most every day, until I joined the ECF, on more than one site is just way to much for me to keep straight. Do you think I could load photos from Facebook albums? I'm more about print, you know physical evidence that you can hold in your hand. It wasn't until I joined the ECF that I finally checked out YouTube.

Guess it doesn't work with Facebook images. This sucks! I'm going to have to think rather seriously if I want to create more hassles for myself by joining Flickr or Photobucket. If I do join one of these be prepared because to make it worth my while I'll be posting thousands upon thousands of photos of my PV's while I'm out and about. For me this really is a serious dilemma as I'll have to figure out a whole new Integrated multiposting strategy from my iPhone, iPad and MacBook and it took me close to a year to figure out how to do it with close to 300 apps and facebook.
