so, when everyone talks about drilling out attys with a 1/32 drill bit what are you drilling? the little holes above the threads? how deep do you go?
those are the holes, just go gently until you feel it break thruso, when everyone talks about drilling out attys with a 1/32 drill bit what are you drilling? the little holes above the threads? how deep do you go?
no prob, they are so small and fine i thought they would break all the time but i'm still on the 1st 1thanks andy!!
everyone has different taste in attys. some like a stiff or tight draw some like it more loose or airyOk, I'll bite, why drill em out?
Oh and Mike, thanks for the heads up on the provape. I had someone offer one earlier, but he also offered a BB that I may snag as well, just to see which one I liked more. Just waiting to pay for the provape.

only do 1 hole at a time and try it both may be too airy for your taste
I have to agree w/ you here- the draw is way to loose when you drill out the little hole, but it tightens up quickly.everyone has different taste in attys. some like a stiff or tight draw some like it more loose or airy
would a 1/64 do itI have to agree w/ you here- the draw is way to loose when you drill out the little hole, but it tightens up quickly.
If I could find a drill bit between the already existent hole and the 1/32, I'd use it and probably drill out both holes, but I believe 1/32 is the smallest one I have.
you can buy smaller lots and it probly wont be the last atty that needs doneI have to say forget it when a 10 pack of drill bits cost more than the atty it's trying to fix!![]()
I don't know- I'm not sure how small the hole is to begin with. But still, if the hole that's already there is getting clogged, a drill of the original size will open things back up so it's probably still a good thing. Yeah, I'd get them if this is what you wan to do w/ your attys. I'd have both sizes, then you can experiment. Btw, the part you're drying to drill out is brass- not very strong so you don't need a real strong drill bit either- at least that's been my experience.would a 1/64 do it
