Or something close to it or another Reomizer that's a MtL atty. I need to be able to stealth vape at work. Just can't afford an authentic chalice. Hoping that if my boss is still gonna work me 36 hours a week, I'll have enough saved in a few weeks to get some Nic in storage and then maybe a 3rd Reo after that. I just bought a new tablet replacing the one that crashed a few weeks ago, so thankfully I'll have real $ coming in for the bills and then necessary vape stuff. LOL

Maybe another RM2 or an RM3 (which gives you the option of duals if or singles. You just need to have the dual or single cap). I've always drilled out the air hole on both a tad more than what comes stock.

You're talking about @Spydro?
He always shared great advice!
Thanks for the input - I'm running it wide open, and it IS a great atty - I was just trying to decide whether to rip out the build and try it single. I probably will...
:)
Yes! Spydro! Great information indeed! Keep us posted k?

Wish I had more information for you on running duals on the "Origen Teensies." Hahaha. I've only run singles in the .9 to 1.2 arena and darn I'm in love with the little buggers. While I do notice that they get warm, I don't find them any warmer than my Challice 3. (I do long, long pulls though). I run mine either wide open or nearly wide open depending on juice flavor and always with a wide drip tip. I like the combination of getting great flavor and a few clouds to boot. I like them so much that I'm hoping to get another. Heck I like it better than my Challice (as I'm more of a DLH gal) but my mini isn't shaved and I can't part with it for a day or 2 at the spa . There is a great thread on the Origen 16 in our archives that may be helpful in sorting the dual/single dilemma. I believe it's a couple pages back in our archives and it was started by our Las Vegas friend (drawing a blank on his name. I believed he signed off ECF when the Reo Forum closed).

Spydro is still a member, he just quit doing much of anything on ECF after Rob closed the forum.

I think this is the Origen thread you are talking about, although there are a couple others as well: Origen Little 16 BF Atty

So, I guess I was in a mood...
Ripped it out, put in a single, pulled that out, put duals back in, lol.
I actually screwed up the single - forgot to change the diameter in Steam Engine, so it was higher resistance than I meant to land on - about 0.8. It was OK, but didn't particularly change the airflow, and didn't really like the way sat in the middle. It was too high, with longer wick distance - plus, well...it was huge (I went 3mm SS) - I was worried the coil would bump a post...

So I did duals again: 27 gauge kanthal, 2.5 mm, a little under 0.5. But I pulled them in tight, a little closer to center - a little more room inside that airhole.
VERY subtle difference, but I like it. It's just a touch more "sizzley" than my first dual build. A bit more kick. Vapor and flavor both awesome. It's a keeper!

ALso of note. I posted in that thread - first page - October, 2015, and kept looking, and thinking about it...
And yet, I didn't get one 'til a few days ago. That's just how I roll. LOL.

Wow, that little O-16 gets HOT.
I've run small atties before and maybe it's cuz your lips are right by those heat fins and the fins actually work? I don't know, but I'm feeling more heat off the atty than I'm used to.
Could also be from running duals in there - that's a lot of coil in a small space.

Who's run both single and dual in an Origen Teensy, and has a preference?
Does going single impact the draw, much? It's a LITTLE bit tight...
I run both mine in dual mode. Prior to supercharging my grands I ran them in the .25-.3Ω range and while built low, they really didn't run all that hot. I would say more of a warm dense vape... Now that all the internals have been changed in my grands, I am running in the .5Ω range and getting the same vape as the lower build. It still seems kinda hot when chain vaping and I am thinking of going just a little higher in fact. I tried single coil for a short time and just couldn't get what I was looking for in the heat/denseness department so went back to duals. I even tried to get a center Z-coil build in one and just couldn't get it without jacking up the coil. I thought about going back down to a 2mm coil, but don't have and 2mm RxW anymore. Thought about using cotton, but I haven't used that in over 2yrs now. The build I have in both are dual 26g KA1 2.5mm 7/8 wrap .48-.5Ω, (I seem to recall), and have worked very well but still thinking of going a little higher. I love my O16's and for the first time since I started vaping haven't even thought about getting another atty to take its place. All others have been sold off or thrown out...

For stealth vaping you need a few things. First of all, you need very high PG liquid, because it carries flavour rather than producing the fog that VG does. It's perfectly possible, even with my builds and high VG juice to stealth vape, but you have to master the double inhale.

Which is exactly what it sounds like - let no vapour escape and when you do exhale, do so downwards - like down the front of your shirt etc. There ought to be no visible vapour at all. Naturally, using unflavoured juice helps too, else everyone wonders where the apple smell is coming from.

Use a hot cup of coffee on your desk to hide any contrails you might leave!

A huge box mod is not a good choice of device - you want a small tube mod maybe like a Sigelei that has an 18350 battery and high nic juice. Fits in the palm of your hand. The idea is to get your nic, not to get fired! 2 or 3 puffs and you're on the case.

I'm so sorry it's a keeper for you . Was hoping to score another. Hahaha! No seriously, those little 16's are really something. Great quality workmanship. Glad you are getting it sorted. I too found that closer to the center is even better. (I was so used to running the coils towards the outer edge of my RM2/3). I put a z coil in after hearing a suggestion from Sloth when he was talking about the SS wire. So far, it's my favorite.

I actually was considering a Reo mini. It use to be that as long as you weren't at the hospital on days, you could smoke and night shift smoked at the bus stop on nights when at the hospital. I've got 2 Kayfun mini v3s coming from FT and I have a Minivolt until I've got the funds for anything else. I also have an Invader mini that I use when fishing (dropped it in the lake once - still works) that's low power. A provari mini would work, too. I DIY, so juice ratios and Nic levels aren't a problem. I also have a Joytech AIO that would work, but I'm looking for something I can rebuild so I don't have to worry about coils in the event of a vapeocalypse. I always vape outside - even at home (although I can vape inside at home) - leftover from my smoking days. One of the guys set off the fire alarm at one satellite station by vaping. lol. Oops. Kinda sucks working in healthcare and using nicotine.

Yeah. most of them are already on fentanyl.

Since you'd not vape much at work anyway, maybe consider a tiny atty like an A6 or an Igo-s. You could even use a dripper.

i only considered RBA's and totally ignored our carto-using throwbacks to the 2000s friends.

How selfish.

Just scored an oak w ebony.

There might be a great deal on a black LP Grand if you know where to look..

Very nice! I didn't know there was any ebony in the 2015 Woodvil batch. I must have missed it, or I might have tried to get that one when they were released.

Not sure. I was somewhat in sticker shock when the 2015's came out compared to the 2014 pricing. At the time I only had my sights set on a one (yellow heart w purple heart), because that was all I could afford to spring for.

The first one I grabbed was a purpleheart. I wanted to make sure I got one, based on the fast sellouts of previous releases, and I love the wood. When I saw that everything wasn't sold out, I slowly picked away at them, over the next several weeks. Eventually I ended up with 6.
