Hard to understand why so many REOs are showing up in the classies. With the deeming regs upon us, and anybody's guess what will happen, there's not much out there more reliable for the long term than a REO. With a few spare parts, they should last for many years.

Not sure that has much to do with it. I think what does have a lot to do with it is the recent surge of high wattage electronic squonkers with all the bells & whistles. I have to admit I want something not a straight mechanical back in the rotation. Just haven't seen the one I want so far.

Mine fell out of my pocket and I ran over it with my skidder with chains on all 4 tires. I literally pried it out of the rock road. Robert honed out the door grooves, replaced the door and its good as new with a few battle scars .
No other mod could have survived.

FIFY I know, amazing to me. Mini's I can sorta see.....because of concern for getting batts later on, but the few times I've sorta skimmed, seems to be a lotta grands. Baffles me. BTW a friend on the porch found this link.....ordered some and they certainly seem to be authentic. Since it's a flashlight site, if things do go south on batts from vape sites, this may be a great place to have bookmarked since I don't think the other non vape places have 18490s Didn't see 14500s though

Considering they are showing black AW authentication stickers that are at least two generations old... I wouldn't order them.

AW Batteries - Authorised Dealers

ETA: Deb, IMO that site is just too... weird. They only carry a total of 8 batteries - on a flashlight sight??? That, and a suspiciously high amount of the stuff listed there is "Out Of Stock."

If someone thinks this is a good idea there are far better flashlight sights to buy batteries at.

thanks hun, didn't know that. That's great info that I have saved. I do wish the pics were better though. I'll let the porch know. mine have the black, but they were given to me and very well could be older than Dec 2013. Haven't used em much cuz I mostly use my grands. Just trying to decide if I should keep the minis or not. One of em needs at least a $50.00 trip to the spa maybe more than that. They both mean a lot to me and I'd like to keep em, but wanna make sure I can get batts for em if things go bad in 2 years.

Hi. Yes they are the best, but for used Reos, you'd need to get verified and check out the classifieds section. Or just get a new one at Reosmods.com check out the clearance and budget mods
Thanks so much! I appreciate it.....looking forward to being able to join "the lounge"
