kewl. Will have to try one. Says it can have lots of air. good flavor?? My current fav is the derringer. If you've tried one of those is it similar as far as flavor?

Just got my Derringer clones in today. Q: The center pin on the clones is threaded and screws right through the center post insulators and the positive post bridge. But the FDV bottom feed pins aren't threaded. The Derringer clone doesn't just fall apart when you unscrew & remove the original center pin?

Needless to say I haven't got my FDV pins yet.

Yes, similar flavor as the Derringer.
Next build I'm going to change out the Phillips head post screws, to grub screws. Had one of the Phillips head loosen up on me.

I used to take a really hokie set up outside when I was by the pool so in case it went in...it was something I wouldn't cry over. I would fill a carto and use an old Vea (Johnson Creek) battery. Lol's.
The beauty of a Reo is if you drop it in the pool or any water, just dry burn your coil, change your wicking, dry the battery off and your back in business... Easy peasy... I've left mine out in the rain once or twice while working... Dry burned the coil w/ RxW in place, juiced it up and vaped...

    Happy Friday everyone!

Good to see you here 'Bad. I guess I must be one of the "old timers" LOL. I have nothing to add to all of the great advice already given. I use the RM2, but don't have an LP. I do hope you love your REO as much as we love ours though.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, cuz I'm still learning, but can't cartos be used??
I just got my mini Reo and that is what I am going to try on it, a Carto :)

Hey Baditude I was thrilled to see you on the forum again and especially here in Reos lounge. When I wanted to learn about safe batteries, I found your blogs and gained the confidence to move to regular batteries. Then when I found REO mods it all came together. I was gone for a little over a year and when I came back to ECF you were the one I looked up to see any new info you had written. OMG, I was SO sorry to see you lost your job, had to move, and left ECF for lack of connectivity. I hope we see and hear from you when you are able to continue on the forum!!! Welcome back my friend.

Calling P67 owners- can you tell me whether the LP RM8 and LP RM2 will work on the P67 and do you know of anyone else selling flavor chasing bf attys? It looks like Chowderhead is focusing on selling mods right now.
Have a great weekend all and thank you!
PDib has a small run of Nuppins, due out sometime next month. There's a list on his thread. It's technically full, but he just told some folks that he was sure he could accommodate them. Worth a shot if a Nuppin appeals :).

Big YES for the LP RM2...as they're all I use on all my P67's....wait...so you ask...well, how many do you have?!

The answer is four...for now...another sale is happening in about 21/2 hours...and if he has a red one...it'll be five...LOVE them more than any previous Reos!

Are you sure you have the correct FDV pins? Every one I ever bought was threaded...

Welp, like I said mine aren't here yet but from that bitty image on FDV they don't look like they are threaded. (Do wish those were larger images on his site.) These ones:

They are threaded? At 3x zoom I can sorta make out the allen key hole but no threads.
