Deb, if you run a Derringer wide open, you will probably not like the O-16 then. I am thinking it would have the same air as the Derringer with only one airhole open on each side.
okie dokie.......back to not gonna get an 016 lol

I love to teeter totter as much as the next person, but I'm gittin dizzy......helpppppppppp

Thanks everybody for the info on the batteries! Budget is pretty tight right now, but was able to order the unfinished LP with matching button and a couple of imr button top 18650s. I'm partial to silver so that was right up my alley. I only have one squonk-ready atty, a No Pity clone, with the extra squonk pin (as a mtl rda the flavor was exceptional with this....so this ought to work temporarily) But down the line want to get a smaller single coil type of atty such as the reomizer 2, and the hastur V2s also has caught my eye. Really stoked to get this mod, have thought about a Reo for a long time now.
Awesome!! And welcome to the family!!! gotta post pics when ya get it! :rules:

How's the airflow as compared to the Chalice III? I ask as I got a Nuppin...brilliant atty but too airy for me. Looking for a new atty so as to justify another REO.
and see the nuppin was my fav for a long time, but after the derringer, the nuppin just didn't have enough air for me. So nice we don't all have to vape the same thing

I will raise my coil next build. That sounds good anyway. Letting the air hit the bottom then go up the coil. Dayyum this is a fine, fine vape. Vaping it on the ferry to VT right now, heading to buy my new car. The ride home tonight will be a blast, testing a new car and new atty at the same time :D
kewl beanz!! We need pics of the new car! Loved the pics of the HT and the water from the ferry!

I have to be one of the laziest REO vapers there is. I don't do any of that stuff. I rewick when I need to, clean contacts once in a while, and may go months without rebuilding coils. I just dry burn them off when I rewick. I vape basically unflavored, except maybe a drop or two of flavoring in the bottle.
Same here, and I don't vape unflavored. Batts get some deoxit with each charging as do the + contact and spring. I do need to oil the woodvil, it's been awhile.

Dang, I love this thread and our wise participants. Am presently in Northern Minnesota checking on my MIL (dementia). Not easy but you folks warm my heart.
(((((Robin)))))) I know that's rough hun. So nice you are visiting with her though!

I had the same thing earlier this week. I emailed Rob and we got it all squared away. Received my order yesterday.
what did ya git????

Try putting it you your mouth and drinking out of it!
Ok......... now that is something I have NOT done! You win!! :D

Thanks! But,boy, they're expensive!

EDIT...ok...went to the site, couldn't find any O-16's...do they also have a different name?
here ya go hun Origen Little 16 BF but I'd definitely try a clone before you drop 106 on that one given that you don't end up liking anything other than the Rm2s.

Hi all, would anyone know of a good MTL atty thats on the market that would go well with the Grand? I currently use a cyclone but they are getting harder to find, any help appreciated.
Most all MTL Reo vapers will tell you that you can't hardly beat an Rm2 on Rob's site. It'll be listed as Reomizer 2.0 They have low profile and Standard profile ones. If you have a newer grand with the milled down catch cup you'll want the LP one.

I looked at the O16, more than once, actually. I may get one yet. I don't know. I had the bug for a new atty, last week; so I ordered a Hadaly, mostly because I had seen one, in person, and looked it over closely.
Also, I just paid for my new Lil Pinch last week, which should be coming shortly, so I'm broke.

When it comes to authentic vape stuff, the price of admission has never been a factor for me as I've managed to resell everything that didn't float my boat (the majority of things I've bought) for 90+% what I paid. I understand the sentiment though, especially since the clones are said to be pretty nice. Just never been a clone roller myself. I think the biggest hit I ever took financially was from the Chalice III. Don't remember what I sold it for but not too close to what I paid. I tried but couldn't.

I'd rather have original myself, but am presently in a financial situation where I have to debate whether to even get a clone, or just make do with what I have already. I could sell stuff, but I'm a genuine pack rat. I don't get rid of much at all. Heck, I still have my original Egos that started me on this journey. I always thought I'd give them to someone who needed them, just haven't been put in that situation, except once, and that was a Reo that went to someone else. I tried to sell my Woodvil once, but when I didn't get any hits, I pulled it and kept it.

I can relate, really shouldn't be spending money. Totally understandable. I mostly funded my O-16 by selling another atty. May do that for a 2nd one as well, or just wait a few months. I've sold basically everything except what I use. Still need to fix my Woodvil, speaking of woodvils...

I'd recommend the RM2.. comparatively inexpensive and great for MTL...I've been using them for a no. of years.

I'm the same. I'm the ultimate pack rat. I have a box full of dripping attys, genesis attys, and a shelf full of tube mods that I haven't touched since my REO journey began. About the only thing I ever managed to sell, via a Local FB group, were a couple Kayfuns.

One of my all time favorite attys is still the Manta V2. But so many attys were coming out at the time, that it was overlooked by lots of people. I still have a couple in my regular rotation. The Manta certainly had room for improvement, here and there, like more air flow, better machining, etc. But instead, production was ended.
The problem with the Manta was it basically was a MTL atty that came out when DLH became wildly popular. If it had hit about 6 months ago it would probably be one of the biggest selling 22mm attys on the market...
I've got Spydro to thank for posting about the O-16 last October. Haven't found a need or desire to look elsewhere since.
Can't believe its been that long ago... Spydro and I were the first to receive ours and post up our thoughts over in Reoville. Those were the last atty's I have purchased. The $ I've saved!!!
I'm curious about that O16 myself, but not $106 worth of curious. I have a clone in my cart at FT for less than $10. I won't feel bad at all if I don't like it for that price.
All the pics I've seen so far and word of mouth has told me all I need to know about the clone and only ensures me to this day that it was $ very well spent!!! Some have had problems with threading, drip tips fitting, AFC binding up, to name a few of the problems... I can think of so many other things to throw away my money on!!!
I'd rather have original myself, but am presently in a financial situation where I have to debate whether to even get a clone, or just make do with what I have already.
Been there / lived through that... This atty has spoiled me and haven't spent a dime on any others in over a year. These will probably be the last atty's I will ever buy!!!

Couldn't take it anymore. Ordered a second O-16. Will fund it by selling another atty. O-16 is officially my favorite atty after 3-4 days of use. I just can't even believe my beloved Stumpola hath been dethroned...
It would have to be something quite spectacular to dethrone my Stumpys!
