Yes, I loved days like that. As I recall, it wasn't super cold that day. Probably mid 20s. Hence, no hat. Just jeans, fleece pull over, and probably just a t shirt underneath.

Brrrr! After seeing these pics, I want to kick up the heater a notch or two. :) A fresh 46 degrees here at 6am.
Jup, I'm with you! You can come join me at the fire, and have a Irish coffee or whatever that is lol

Update on the 'elusive' Hadaly:
After requesting a search, with text updates, Hadaly, after relaxing in Orlando since last Friday (50 miles away), has been located, as of this morning, in Jacksonville (180 miles away).
No wonder USPS is losing money.

I actually got it from Focalecig - at the time I think they were the first site that had them, but now all the chinese sites carry it.
And a couple of them have a "beauty ring" for it too, like this.
That's the one I ordered also from Focalecig. Still waiting........(tapping foot).

USPS had so many investigations & complaints on the North Houston depot that they fid a big investigation & there were a lot of contractor & personnel changes. That is the main hub for Houston & surrounding area. I was having a horrible time for about 6 months in the same period of time. There was a line of people looking for packages at the PO every time I went. I stopped trying to deal with it locally h started doing the help messaging h investigations. I know when it hitd gthe N. Houstion hub, I should have it the next day, but it wssn't happening. Suddenly it wss running smoothly again & I was told that there was a new contractor.

This is the first problem I've ever had, other than things being a little slow going through the LA Hub, when I used to order things out of So Cal.
But normally, when my stuff hits Orlando, I get it the next day; sometimes the same day, if it hits Orlando in the early AM. This is the first time I've ever seen anything go from Orlando to Jacksonville.

Somebody wasn't paying attention, huh.

Another thing I like about living in Florida. I no longer need to own and maintain a 4WD vehicle.
Winter tires are far, far more useful than 4WD. Mine's AWD, but that wasn't necessary. The combination's the best, though. My last car was front wheel and with winter tires I was a beast in the snow and ice.

Your point's still spot on either way, winter tires are an expense you don't need in Florida.

Just took her for her first spin in the snow. She did wonderfully. Next week my winter tires will arrive and then she will be a true wintertime beast...

Sure... Tim posts pics of her looking good. But... will he post them when he wraps her around those trees? :w00t::lol:

What kitty litter? o_O
Photographic evidence is there. Good thing the winter tires are on the way.
Just messing with you, Sloth. My wife drives an Outback that we bought new in 2006. We live in the high country of NE Washington where we get real winters and lots of snow. I wouldn't want her going back and forth to work in any other vehicle. I know you will be happy with it.:)

I have some pics of the snow here in East TN on Jan. 21. But it's been awhile since I've been on, and forgot how to include the pictures.

Edit: snow we got Friday night. I was the only person on the roads when coming home from working the 3rd shift on Sat morning. Snapped this picture at 8:30am, but it snowed all day until 6pm. Wasn't able to get more pictures because it was dark, and had to scoot off to work.

:D

I love it so far. Only had it not even 2 weeks. Destroys what I was driving before, a 2001 Dodge Caravan. Just didn't need that much space, this is much more "slothy."

NE Washington eh? I need to get out there, bet it's gorgeous.

The trade off though, that lots of people don't realize, is that tires don't last as long in Florida as they do up north. The road surfaces are much more abrasive, because they don't use asphalt or tarvia. 30k miles on factory spec tires, and they're shot. Those ground up shells are rough on tires.

Where you been bro, I've missed seeing you around. I was in JC in September. It was a quick in-and-out for a family reunion or I would've tried to meet up with you. Always good to see family. Had been a long time.

What do they use for roads? I've only been to FL once, and I was 14 I think so I don't remember much (other than almost drowning in the ocean, but that's a story unto itself...)

Ground up shells? That sounds beautiful :w00t:

They use ground up shells, or ground up coquina rock, or concrete. It's too hot for tar based paving material.
