Would that would make it more difficult if someone tried to cut your throat? And hey, just looked at the original date on this pic.
My neck got fixed FIFTEEN years ago. Still holding my head on, so that's good.

Jup, that's the kind of thing I meant when I said good ones are more likely to find stuff than the docs......they're specialized, that's all they do. But they can screw ya up good if you get a bad one.I had weird neck/back stuff for years. Not severe pain but weird stuff. After like TEN YEARS of stumping doctors, including Neuro, with MRI's, etc - I finally went to a highly recommended Chiro, though I didn't expect anything.
He X-rayed, came in the room and said "I'm not touching you - there's something wrong with your neck".
He showed me where, and I took that to my doc.
My doc got me in with the guy who'd fixed HIS neck - chief of neurosurgery at a major research hospital.
So - never been TREATED by a Chiropractor, but I have respect for the trade.
(FYI - HAD he "cracked" my neck, it's quite possible it would have paralyzed me - the "weird" was being caused by stenosis, where the holes in the disks were closing in and touching spinal column...)
That's interesting. I'm used to seeing pins and screws, I'm sure it's not but looks like the 3d printed sumpthin to go between em all. I've got some stenosis too but not that severe. Really glad what they did helped. And hey, just looked at the original date on this pic.

Picture's worth a thousand words.DJD here and terrified of chiros !
Went once, specifically said NOT to wrench my neck - the SOB did anyway !
I was frozen with fear for a few minutes until I got the nerve to get up and walk out.
My best money spent for my back is my inversion table. It was love at first flip !
And - I control it.
I have been going to my chiro for years. I'm short, 4'11", and have done a lot of things that I shouldn't have. Moved many, many heavy things, carried them, had accidents, etc. If I hadn't gone to her I probably wouldn't be walking now. She does x-rays, and is still studying. Almost an RN! She knows my body very well and is always careful and discusses before adjusting. Talk to your friends and neighbors for recommendations.Somewhat related...has anyone ever been to a chiropractor for back pain? Did it help?
weekly sessions for a month, 2 per month for the next 2 months.
Lunar months i suppose.
T
heheheMy wife went to a chiro for a frozen shoulder (I said she'd been giving me the cold shoulder for years - fortunately, limited range of motion due to the shoulder issue prevented her from administering a slap to my face).
Good Morning Reonauts. I, too, would once wade into the river of atomizers, but such fancies no longer seem so desirable. And thus, here I sit, watching Papa curse his Lorans, and relaxing beneath the shade tree.
So, anyways... I went to the Optometrist yesterday. A strip mall Optometrist, no less. They were very polite, and very pleasant, For the amount that they charged me (or should I say fleeced me) they should have been. Spending a week's pay every three or four years for a new set of specs is getting old (and so am I). But at least this time I remembered to ask for my prescription.
Where can I order glasses online for a reasonable price ?
Now stop that. I just had my cereal breakfast, and that looks soooo goood.
But... Bacon... Benefit vs risk, surely you have an epipenIt does look good !
I am learning that I have to stay away from bacon.
I had it twice last week as an experiment - failed miserably.
My throat went back to the closing spasms - bad !!!!
(LPRD)
Not a happy camper.
Hmmm.
I know I have some decent ham. There COULD be bacon in the freezer.
One way or the other, I think now I'm gonna make a breakfast sammich.
