So here we are at 4 months so far. Just plugging along and really haven't even thought about the vape!! Actually, the only time I think of it is when I'm on ECF or I see someone vaping on TV, (which is more and more nowadays)... I've gotten past the whole, gotta have something in my hand part and don't carry any candy around for the urges either. No urges at all...thank god. I have however found myself sometimes going a couple days without checking in here on the forum though. I don't think its for a lack of interest to keep up with most of you but instead I have cut my computer time down and am out earlier in the day and working at keeping busy. So far so good. Glad to hear that all is doing good here in the lounge and in life in general...

Hard to believe it has been four months! Thanks for continuing to hang with us and keep us updated. We seldom to never have the opportunity to talk with someone who has gone through the process and has come out the other side completely smoke and vape free.

Here! Here!

Thanks for the update @muzichead - very intrigued to live vicariously through your journey. The most encouraging thing is that you've become a non-indifferent nonvaper. People who quit something like this usually seem to fall into one of two camps: anti's or indifferents. That you continue to have an interest in vaping yet abstain without issue (and by choice) is very cool.

Ahh just spent 3 hours on the phone with getting new health insurance. What a nightmare.
We are in the same boat.
Unfortunately what we learn about medical insurance options today will probably be irrelevant tomorrow. The industry just isn’t stable during this political storm.

i have that performance every year getting health insurance for HRH. She doesn't work so i pay for her insurance myself.

i'll just say i was less than amused at an attempted 47% increase last year and got her some someplace else. But every year i have to do this sh..

The irony is that her usual premium is what we used to spend each month on cigarettes (about $400).

Rayon is definitely better flavor and wicking than cotton so far on trial 2 :thumb:

Where has this been my whole life?
Can't thank @PapawBrett enough.

I just went back to the Rayon yesterday......I got tired of my vape tasting "muddy" after just a couple of days...been using various wicking products for a few years up till now...some that I consider on the expensive side....so far, I'll keep some more money in my pockets and vape "cleaner":D

I'm still re wicking every 2 days because my diy juice is a real coil gunker but wow the flavor and vape off rayon is so much better I can't believe how much I got for the price. Cotton bacon was costing me almost $10 a week now I have enough rayon to last a lifetime and make a pillow for my coffin haha

I wasted 90% of the bag having problems wicking and not being able to get the right size cotton. User error to be accurate. It just didn't work right for me.

It's kind of an 'art form', regardless what material you use for wicking. With cotton, it's a matter of getting just the right amount of friction, as you pull the wick through the coil. What you don't want is 'shoulders' at the sides of the coil.

Just pulled the trigger on two o16s from fasttech; hopefully they're not too bad. My first time ordering from them ever.

Mine are very good quality but too restrictive a draw. And I dropped a spring which was totally my fault but it is a tiny atty at least compared to the Maker's I use.:) My last order from them took 6 weeks, hopefully you'll get yours sooner.

I'd bet you're just dying for the next increase that the new IOC gave free reign to the medical industry to increase at their leisure and drop whom they don't want to insure!! It was nice of him to do that....making America great, right??o_O
