Ok so I just got my new mvp 20w a few days ago and I put my rosy on it fired it up at 14w and oh man now I understand so good although black licorice is a bit harsh lol but that is what I had in the tank lol
So right now I need to deep clean my rosy any suggestions
When any of my atty's are new in the box, I give them a Baking Soda / White Vinegar bath. Then onto a Dawn liquid dish soap and hot water wash next, rinsing in between each of the baths. Examining the atty afterwards for left over machining bits or the hint of machine oil. If you leave any o-ring on or screws in place oil can be in behind those so be sure to take the unit completely apart.

When washing out a regular atty I take it apart and just use the Dawn soap, hot water wash then rinse. You might have to change out or clean the ceramic cup if the licorice flavor lingers badly in your new juice.

The best way I have seen to clean the ceramic cups is not with soap and water or any other cleaning liquid. Take the cup out of the unit and hold it with tweezers, heat the cup with a small Butane torch like you would use for oxidizing mesh. The ceramic cup with come stark white again and just like new. Do not immerse the hot ceramic in water or anything, just let it cool slowly in the air.

Soak the parts in coke or pepsi for an hour or half an hour then rinse thoroughly. This will solve the issue. Tried and tested

still loving my modded rose but man it is still so big, def worth it for the vape because until now nothing can touch it, but I just got my hands on a mark bugs gem and man let me tell you, MB got this thing RIGHT... I mean it has about all the good attributes that the rose does, same flip it over and remove the whole tank (even when full) to access the coil easily and it vapes just as well if not even better, AND on an 18650 it's as tall as the modded rose is on an 18500!!! the first true rose killer :)

I do a thorough initial cleaning, but afterwards I just fully disassemble the atomizer every week, soak it in hot water for ~20 minutes, rinse in a sieve, then dry with paper towel. I haven't noticed any build up that would require soap, but I vape a relatively clear eliquid.

Correct.

And I personally think the Rose has better flavor with the tall tank. Anyone agree or disagree?
I would require a V2-S to give an informed answer. ;) I understand from what I have read is that the short chimney on the Stumpy is supposed to provide better flavor.

And what we have here gentlemen is a 3m ID 1.6 ohm vertical coil aligned directly over the air hole wicked with one long strand of ramie wrapped around the exterior of the coil doubled back in and out the juice flow holes in the typical manner. It is the first build I'm genuinely proud of and the taste is clean and superb. Never tasted anything that compares. Just too self satisfied to keep it to myself!

Any tips for improvement or what to try next are appreciated!

I love a vertical in the Rose. Strangely though I prefer a 2mm coil. So you might want to experiment with coil diameter, but preferences are subjective :). I've done, 2, 2.5, 2.8 and 3mm on verticals.

I just put 4 verticals in the Aromamizer, lol! I may be loosing my mind (well, I'm really nicced out anyway

My apologies! English is a beautiful language but one thing it doesn't do well is formal gender neutral pronouns.

Does coil ID affect the quality of the vape in a certain way? I went large because I knew the amount of cotton would restrict more of the chamber and I didn't want to choke airflow too mcuh.
