Mine came fully assembled!?!?
The deck on this thing is so tiny it is almost hard to connect the coils.Everything you see on videos looks larger than it is for some reason???
I agree the deck is much smaller than it looks in pictures, but I still find both my R91 and KFL incredibly easy to build on.

I a sure it's a ploy - likely to introduce divisiveness and squabbling. It's a fail insomuch as we already blame china, but yeah - the happy-go-lucky attitudes are irksome.

O.K. I have found the vape i have been searching for with my Russian 91%.So far have been thru 3 tanks and 3 different juices(cleaned coil in between tanks)and it is vaping up a storm.I have a 1.4~ .05 x .01 ribbon build with 3mm silica with a figure eight wick.The vape is warm and close to being a hot vape.pillowing clouds of DRY4.
I hope this continues because i have no need of purchasing another RBA/RDA/RTA,hahahahahaha,LOL,yea right,like that is going to happen.Seriously this thing is phenominal and worth every penny.

I've been getting wicking issues with this config using 2mm ekowool.. time to break out the 3mm lol

Got my 91% today. Set up nicely however, I get tons of flavor, not much vapor and too harsh of a TH. What's the cause? Coil too close or too far away from the air hole?
Running 28aw with silica/eko at 0.8-1.3ohms. No wicking issues & again, great flavor, not much vapor and harsh TH.
Somebody help me out.

Is the coil really really close to the base? I had the same problem, moved the coil up a bit, and problem solved.
Did you clean the entire device real good before filling,including the deck?? You could be getting some of that machine oil burning off in the tank causing it.Do you have a hot spot in the coil anywhere?Did you do a dry burn to check before filling??EDIT: Did you pack the wick too tight down the channels??

I vaped it once, it was so nasty that it made me ill and I almost quit vaping because of it.

Most likely airflow, open up your draw and make sure your coil is in a good position over the airhole. Sometimes when putting the chimney together your wick might get tweaked.

Going to have to cut the mg's in half with this thing,maybe further than half.I just saw VT has the full Russian up for pre-order.What is up there after there problems with the 91%'s?
I have no problems with flavor. I don't taste machine oil. I get incredible flavor of my juices & have cleaned it off by breaking it all down and cleaning each part & rebuilding with new coils before I put new juice in because I want a set up that doesnt have this harsh TH & no vapor problem. I've made coils 0.8-1.3 ohms positioned over the air hole. I think the first set up I made I packed the eko down but didn't have any problems with wicking whatsoever and I have since stopped packing it down on my set-ups and continue to not have any wicking issues at all.

Have yet to try micro coils but I suspect the harshness/TH factor may be attributed to by distance of coil from the air hole, similar concept as with a geny whereby if the air hole is closest to the coil you get more vapor and flavor, further away more TH less vapor, however this is a much different set up than a geny. So with this I have tried keeping my coil closer to the air hole but not touching obviously to avoid short potential and this is still what I get. Anyone that is able to get thick clouds mind sharing some suggestions like how far away from the air hole/base do you keep your coil?

Thank you handbanana! I tend to prefer tighter draws so I had it closed and when I opened it up the vapor increased significantly! Yay! THANK YOU!
Just a heads-up, for what it's worth. I picked one up today from Viper Vapor in L.A. (not sure if they're associated with Viper Vape). Price was $95 + tax. The crew there said they had plenty in stock, though I can't find it on their website. Not quite sure if they ship, either, but there you go. Beautiful clone. Assembled in 15 min. Thick, consistent clouds. Thumbs up.

Setup with a micro coil and cotton. 10 wraps 28g at 1.4 ohms.
Sitting on my mech, this is the most enjoyable vape I've had to date.

How does coil proximity to the hole effect vapor production, TH, vapor warmth etc?
