Ok I use to smoke cigarettes and cigars. a pack of Chesterfields cost 6 USD or 30c each cigarette and the cigars I use to smoke were Dutchmasters at about 2 USD each.
1 cigarettes give about 10 drags
1 cigar about 60 drags
I buy ejuice at 7 USD each 30ml free shipping. I have 10 ejuices "e-liquid-store in china"
I have the Yeti 501 paid 37 USD for 2 gold ones.
I figure a 30 ml bottle is equal to about 600 regular cigarettes or 60 cigars...or 6,000 puffs- or 30 packs of cigarettes.
So this would make the price of a pack cigarettes at .23c each pack 'minus the 501 Yetis price"
Price of a cigar is .12c
One cigarette is more less .01c :)
In the long run the saving is just HUGE!!!!
And IMHO the taste and pleasure is just as good as a real cigar- cigarette

My friend lives in Ireland where a pack of smoke is now at 12 USD a pack.. And if in New York city try 14 DOLLARS a pack! that is just insane! one cigarette in New york cost .70c... When a e-cig cost .01c
if only for economic reasons alone the change over is well worth it.
A pack of day in new York cost $5,100 a YEAR!
A pack a day e-juice- 501 is $83.00
Savings a year is 5,000 USD!!!

Well i just did a post a bit ago, Where I showed our math, I am not gonna go as far down trying to find the amount as you did,But for us

its 5 euro a pack here,
I smoked two packs a day, so 10 euro a day
* 30 days is 300 euro.

from Best ecig
1 vaperizer 3 euro
2 batteries 6 euro
1 60 ML of e liquid 24 euro(This is enough that I never crave a Analog smoke could and I do not have to order a new Vaperier every month But I do so it never breaks and I am with out,..)

Price total: 33 euro a month
Amount saved: 267 euro a month

Gee... how come your analogues are so cheap!!! LOL

My previous analogue of choice are now over $18.00 per pack of 25 retail and I used to smoke around 30-40/day. AUS$ is close to parity with US$ currently, so I'm killing the pig!!!!

Been 7 months now, but I worked out $'s after 5 months and (disregarding initial hardware outlay approx $120) consumables for vaping had cost me approx $180. Analogues for the same time would have been close to $3,000 at retail and approx $2,200 if I bought in bulk.

I'm one happy vaper!!!

exactly..chuckles.... But people dont even think about it, because you buy them as you need them so A pack or two packs a day, or a carton a week. You don't buy it all outright, Where with Ecigs you kinda have to, Because it takes two weeks for the order to get here.

The only reason I noticed it was the second month I was vaping, I ordered what i needed for the next month, and saw the price of 33 euro, and was like wtf that's a carton, and I smoked 1 of those a week.

EDit: This was originally to Bestlion But it somewhat works in answer to both of you..lol

Clark at 18 USD a pack and if you did 3 a day thats $19,710 USD a year for cigarettes!! this is just to compare!!

Hey Best, thought the $19k was a little ambitious so I thought I'd step back and do the math, from my actual usage cost, over the past 7 months and extend it to a year of vaping.

OK, here we go..... the MATH (for me)....

Firstly with analogues, I smoked 30 cigs/day on average (sometimes more, sometimes less). My smokes cost over $18.00/25, so each smoke = $0.72. Therefore, average cost to me me per year @ 30/day would be 10,950 analogues x $0.72 = $7,884.

VAPING COSTS

Juice
I vape 2.5-3ml/day and my cost is approx 0.20c/ml (I buy premix and mix my own, but this is average), so @ 2.5ml/day I would consume 910ml/yr, or 1100ml/yr @ 3.0ml/day. Split the difference, say 1000ml/year @ 0.20/ml = $200.00.

Atty's
I kill an atty approx every 3 weeks, so that works out to approx 18/yr @ $4.50, so 18 attys/yr @ $4.50 = $81.00.

Batteries
I've managed to kill 3 batteries over 7 months (if you disregard the 7 that died when I used LR1.5 ohm atty's for a week), so over a year I would expect to lose 6 batteries@ $15.00/batt = $90.00.

So, the total consumables for the year should be approx $371.00.

But I have built up supplies of juice & spares etc, so let's add another $300 to the costs and call it $670 in total.

Unless I go crazy buying new gear etc, I figure by next May I should be in front by about $7200 and that should pay for a nice little holiday.

Cheers.

the 19,000 bucks was if you smoked 3 packs a day.. but anyway at 7,000 bucks a year in savings that is just amazing! 7 grand is a hell of nice vacation to las vegas with 5,000 bucks left over for the poker tables..
I smoked both canalogs and cigars..about 1 packs every other day and 3 cigars a day.. i spend on ave about 10 bucks a day on smokes or $3,650 bucks a year..
Now i drag 800-1,000 drags a day "I am a heavy esmoker" or 7 ml a day I go through 85 - 30ml bottles a year at 7 USD each bottle..thats 590 bucks..and I do 5 batteries and 7 atomizers a year. that's about 100 bucks so more less about 700 bucks a yr I spend on esmokes i save near 3,000 bucks a year and smoke 10X more then i did the real thing!

LOL I used to make my own cigs (very cheaply about $1 a pack and smoked 2-3 packs a day). I mix my own juices and costs are extremely cheap I get a gallon of PG and VG for under $25 each but I have yet to recoup my start up costs lol since I did the trial and error thing finding a pv that works and now I'm addicted to using GG's which are pricey. GG keeps producing new and better products and I just have to have them. I'll never break even! LMAO

I buy PG and VG oil..and mix 50% to all my juices.. saves on the cost since I go through about 10 ml a day. i also did roll your own cigs..I had a machine that rolled them..American Spirits. When i did those i smoke easy 40+ a day and if I was drinking would smoke 3-4 packs a day!

Up your mg levels and I think everything will be fine. Try 18mg or 24-26mg juices, undiluted, and see how you go.

I haven't broke even yet on what I've spent on vaping because I keep buying stuff! Got caught with no charged battery a few times so I bought 2 more batteries, 2 4-port USB chargers, more charging cables, 2 passthroughs (one for work), a spare PV or a different kind and its PCC and cartos for that one. Not to mention the dozen or so juice places I have bought samples from...
