a little comparison of other 26mm mods I have
Well Snork my delrin was out when I received it and button was on the inside of the top cap so not only did I get it back together I also had the opportunity to put the bottom master switch back in as I kept turning it to try to accommodate an E-moli 26700 battery. I have all the finesse of a bull in a china shop but it was a snap (literally). Thank Goodness I watched your video of taking it apart and putting it back together!!!
So if anyone is planning on getting the 26700 cells keep in mind if you can notice in the pic a little seem in the top cap as it doesn't fit so snugly with the slightly longer cell.
The longer ming was much appreciated David no lip burning and with a 1.6 ohm coil in the Cobra it really vaped like a son of a .....
Its not as heavy as I thought it would be and easily carried in my pocket without the embarrassing pants to the ankles.
It's Well built and I am glad I waited for it and ended up with a polished finish as I asked too late for a satin finish but now glad I didn't as this does not show the finger prints. I love the master on/off switch, the feel in my hand.
The 5ml Cobra makes it long but for what it is, a 26mm mod it is quite compact. Will have to try it out with some shorter RBAs.
So on the whole I am very please with this!

yep 1/16th it's seems to be my sweet spot. The ZAP and ZAU I have are clean for a reason. I don't use them as they are too airy for me, so will probably unload them!
barqs, i'm curious if you have more than one 26700 cell and if they're all just a bit too long.
I have four and yes they are all just a little bit too long but after some tinkering with the master switch and really tightening down top cap the seem is less noticeable but to be honest I'm not that .... so I'm good. I think that is why there has been some issues with the trustfire 26650s, in particular silverrocks, as they are protected so they are a bit longer and you do have to open the master on off switch a lot more then regular 26650s. I guess the extra 50mm in the 26700s makes a little difference. I'll try the 26650 when I drain this battery and the blue one from Super-T but with the many different 26650s I have, I do tend to like the e-molis best they do pack a wallop.
it is very compact considering what it is. keep in mind the Staff to the left is one of a kind custom built specifically for the 26700 and kick so it would be longer. But, in my pants pocket the Shockwave feels no more significant in weight then a Provari, just a little thicker. It is truly great workmanship and design!!
It's back to the mill, as they say, for David from tomorrow... So it is finally starting to look like shipping notice could well be imminent, provided there isn't some other hitch or disaster to create some other delay etc...
I'm guessing that there are still a small number of people who have been waiting considerably longer than I have, but everything points to the wait being well worth it in the end...
