I have asked Chad on the Care and Maintenance for your Silver Bullet thread the question of suitable lubricant(s) for the main threads that are available in the UK.

I have also phoned the company in the link and they are contacting the tech team of the product to check to see if it is suitable for aluminium...

Anyone reckon brass instrument slide lube will be good on the atty threads?

You do not want any lubricant on the atomiser threads!

They can take a while first charge, but once that first charge is out of the way, it will get quicker...lol.

I take it that you are charging up the 18650's? once charged those beauties last me 30 hours vaping time..

The Tenergie batteries, work differently. They take a long time to initially charge, but will not last very long at all, and you will think they are a waste of money.. thats only because they are a 'slow build up battery' ( my term not technical ) and they have to be charged up to 5 times to really get the benefit.

One thing I have noticed already, and be aware.. Keep The Atomiser Moist.. so a couple of drops regular, if not you will get the burnt taste and fast...lol

Not to mention the loss of your atomiser... simply keeping it moist, will keep it alive, even at 6v, should that be your vaping delight..

Those batteries need a good charge first time...

If you are using the 3v ones in order to get a 6v vape, you will need to charge them and use up to 5 times before they reach capacity, its the downside of protected batteries.

So it does sound like battery to me..

They've been in for a good 6 hours, lights on charger turned green. I'm using the 16850 batteries, I put them back in and light is still green but I'll leave them for an hour or two and see if they do anything.

Do you mean the 18650? the huge long ones... they are what I use too.

Remember with that switch be sure you are pressing it firmly. Its designed for safety, and I find my finger nails stop it going all the way at times, so it may just be that.

6 hours should have done the trick...
