I didn't make it to Woodstock, I was in the Army at that time. A few months later, I did make it to a small version of Woodstock, held in Dartmouth, Massachusetts, I believe. There were several thousand people there for that one and no trouble. It was nice.

My mother was there, I am pretty sure I get my artistic genes from her. It sometimes makes me sad that I was not around for that but I attend a few music festivals that are very Woodstock-like. Castlefest in Holland is 3 days of good music, amazing people and love in the forest, just wish there were festivals like that closer to home. I am going to one in Oregon this summer but don't think it will be the same.

It was different, Aaron. The jug of wine was being passed up and down the rows of people and so were the....er..... "special" cigarettes. We were all strangers, but we trusted each other.

Well I'm sure it was different, but I'm sure it was also the same in a lot more ways than you would think.
