Hello people, The spending insanity in my personal experience must end. I have to stop this...it never seems to come to an end. The first 2 months of vaping cost me about 700 dollars and even though that has dropped the last 2 months, it is still out of hand.

My advice to anyone starting out is to take it easy, do more research, take everyone's opinion on juices with a grain of salt...most of my money went on juices. Now that I am diying, I still want to go out and buy new flavors from this vendor and that vendor...it never stops. Lions and Tigers and Bears oh MY!

In the last 2 days alone, I hear someone mention that the silver bullet can run at 5 volts with different batteries and of course you need a different charger, Then I hear about the kick for mods. When does this end. I understand that there are many people who can control their spending, but I am not one of them and I am sure there are many vapers out there just like me.

As great as this forum is for knowledge, it will also destroy your credit cards. I have not spent any money in 2 weeks and I think that is a miracle. I need some boge 510's and I am trying to not make the purchase. There is a juice out there that I want and I am trying not to make that purchase. It is totally insane. If I had the money, I probably would have 10 to 20 mods easy.

The diying is not going good so I am going to be on the hunt for juices again...BIG TROUBLE! The juice I make is atrocious and the flavors I purchase are not that great to begin with. What does a vaper do? Just settle on a few juices and end it or continue searching for juices that do not exist.

That is my advice for people just starting out...take it easy and only buy what you need or you will become an addict like me. I just must stop this insanity. I would love to hear some opinions on this. Wondering if there are people out there like me?

The banner in my sig is a lie, bud. I'm right there with you. I'm vaping and scared, as I put off buying more atties, and now I'm using my last one. This is uncomfortable as when you were stuck at work and only had one cigarette, and it was only 10a.m. coffee break!! I ordered some more last weekend. I hope they're here today. The spending is a thought-out process for me at this point. ECF doesn't help to much in this respect because a battle is waged in my brain everytime that new, shiny Thingamizontadariator is announced. First instinct is,"I MUST HAVE ONE!!". Then the realization that A) I can't afford it / B) I shouldn't buy it / C) Why in God's name did I just hit "Add to Cart"??

The banner in my sig is a lie. I couldn't tell you how much I've spent or saved. I started a diary of expenses when I first started vaping. I gave up after I hit $400 in the 2nd month. Sad, indeed.

Good news tho! I CAN BREATHE!! -Priceless

Hello. My name is Sa Da Tay and I'm a juiceaholic.

I've managed to stick with my original PV hardware since I started about four months ago, but I am a fully-addicted serial juice buyer. I must try all flavors/vendors and this compulsion has accumulated me a somewhat embarrassing mountain of juice bottles, carts and debit receipts.

I know this is counter to the spirit of this board, but I would say that the main contributor to my obsession is visiting this forum often. My suggestion is to at least stay away from the liquid/hardware review sections for awhile to perhaps squash some of your impulses, though that doesn't exactly work because this general section contains posts that make you want to buy stuff as well. If you are seriously getting into debt over this, I would suggest staying away from any vaping-related forums completely, at least for awhile.

Also fyi, never ever ever volunteer to tabulate votes and maintain a database for Juice of the Year if you're trying to cut down on your juice purchases.

I spent a fortune trying to quit smoking. I paid out of pocket for Chandix, the name escapes me but another pill from the Doctor, gum, patches. Then I had to join a gym and paid for one of those diet plans to lose the 25 lbs I gained when I failed to quit. I could have gone to a resort in Hawaii and had them lock me in. Plus I was still smoking!!

At least this works! And look at all the wonderful people you met!

Yeah, I've spent almost $800 in about 3 months, looking for the "perfect vape". It never freaking ends. I want to get a buzz pro, find a carto that is perfect for it, and find two juices to alternate. Just finding the perfect juice gets pricey, REAL quick, especially with shipping involved.

I though I was good when I got my ego and a EMDCC, but it's too cool for me, as is the stardust on an ego. The 808's I have (V2, Halo, Elite) are fine, but they "run out" too fast. Tanks are great, but I really don't want to carry that around in my pocket/public. I'm a perfectionist, and it's KILLING ME !!!!!! I want a magic e-cig that performs like a VV device, lasts all day, something that I can chain vape if I want with no dry hits, and is the size of the Elite 808, max.

I have yet to try my vornados, and I hear there is a lower ohm stardust on the horizon, so I may be closer than I think.

WoW, it's called Will power i guess. i just stick with what works for me. in my years of vaping, i bet I haven't even spent $1,000 on mods. i still have my old SB and chuck that are getting redone and once redone I will sell them. I spend maybe $30-50 a month and have for some time unless i get another mod, in which i sell 1 ( Im Not A Hoarder, and I don't need all the cool s**t), only makes since to me. I only have 2 hands, and no need for 10 mods. they all are cool, but they all work in the same aspect basically. You must find your happy place. I have found 2 mods that i probably will never part with unless i quit vaping and i think I'm pretty close, Maybe!!... Live, learn and control the habit, Thats all :D

Just when I think I've got it figured out, got the perfect mod, the perfect setup, the perfect juice I see someone mention a juice that is just out of this world GREAT and something inside me says I've gotta try that and there I go again spending more money that I don't really have but like someone already mentioned I'm not smoking!!!

I have just passed my one year anniversary and it does get better. I am at the point now that if something new comes out I will wait until there is good customer feedback and really look at my set up I already have and see if it is something that will really fit my needs. Basicly there will always be something new that comes out, it will come and go, and next week there will be something better to replace it with.

Hobbies cost money, as long as ur spending isn't getting the lights shut off or car repossessed don't feel too guilty about spending money on something you enjoy.... And as others said, you can always start to trade/ sell on classified to satisfy ur need for "new" while culling what u don't need anymore
