Blogged about this, but -

Today's her first day vaping. Yesterday I showed her how to fill cartos and she loaded about three of them up with DK 555 - she fired up her eGO for the first time this morning...

...and lost her breakfast after the first hit :(

Now this is not good. I'm a firm believer in the attraction rather than promotion thing and having the missus upchuck after her first experience with an eGO doesn't bode well.

Needless to say she was less than impressed. After her insides calmed down a little bit she screwed that same carto onto one of my 510XL batteries and proclaimed that was *much* better.

Huh?

Anyway, she took both of my 510 batteries, a USB charger and a couple of cartos to work with her and gave me her eGO kit but said she was keeping the case ;)

She thinks that I inhale more vapor more deeply than she does and said "no wonder you have COPD" but on day one she likes the itty bitty batteries better than the great big ones.

If things go the way they do with most everybody I've seen I'll be giving her eGO back in about four days :D

Same thing happens with my mom. I've tried for a year with her and started with an Riva battery. I think she started choking before she hit the button and eventually got to the point she started choking every time i was in the same room with her and pulled the Riva out.

Recently I got a Volt kit with both and auto and manual battery. I gave her an auto battery to try and she loved it, it's like she's been vaping for years, took right to it, ok I can attribute that to the different carto making the vape more enjoyable for her UNTIL, I gave her the manual battery that came in the kit to try. Same result as the Riva, she started choking seemingly before she hit the button.

I've quit trying to figure it out, just happy I found something that works for her and I'm buying more auto batteries haha.

If your spouse doesn't come around to a fatt batt then might want to give the Volt battery a shot, they are 808 so you'll need an adapter if you want to go 510 with it but they have longer life than the 510s.

Thanks for the tip - I think what I'm gonna do is give her a few days and then talk about where she'd like to be with this thing. If she wants skinny batteries then maybe a Volt is a good idea. Another idea I had was trying 3 or 3.5 ohm cartos with the fat battery.

Thanks again -
