Can any of you tell me if ALL e-juice needs to steep for a while? Reason I ask is because I just received our first shipment of 9 or 10 different flavors from FSUSA today and tried each one of them out and OMG! And not in a good way. Please tell me that this stuff will get 1,000 times better than it is right now cause I hate to think I just waisted another $50.:(

If the answer is yes, is there a proven way to speed this process up? The wife and I are desperate as we ran out of any tobacco flavors and we were hoping the stuff we ordered from this new supplier (to us) would be vapeable but 7 or more of them are just too nasty right now to vape. Nasty as in licking dingle-berry's off a mules ... kinda nasty. Not that I know what that taste like but it's gotta be close. lol

HELP!!!

All of FSUSA's juices are made to order, so they need to be steeped or aged for the flavor to fully develop - usually about a week or so, and the flavor will continue to improve over time. This is true of all juices made by suppliers that make their juices fresh to order. If they are not making them to order & they have been sitting on a shelf for quite awhile, pop the top and have at em'. The best advice I can give you if you order from FSUSA, stock up when they have a sale so you don't run out.....

I never cared for any of their tobacco flavors. It's something in the FlavourArt tobacco flavorings that I don't care for at all. And no amount of steeping helped it (to the point of even multiple months). To me it was just a pungent bottom of the grill/lawn clippings smell/taste that did not nothing more than foul my atomizers (it's the only thing that I've ever vaped that I had to soak the attie to get clean).

Some insist that trying it again in two weeks will make a world of difference. My own experience has been that if I hate it fresh (because it's already had a few days to steep during the mailing process), it is not going to improve to be good. However, I'm sure you'll hear from others with a different experience.

I suggest you consider trying Vapor Stations sampler pack; for $25, you can get 5 ml of ten different flavors (you get to pick them). For the first 6-8 weeks I vaped, theirs was the only juice I liked (depending on what you smoked, I recommend either the Texas or Tampa).

I make my own juice. If theirs is made-to-order, yes try letting it steep for a couple weeks. I have too on several of the one's that I like to make. The flavor pops in 10-14 days. I take the caps off and place in a cardboard shoebox so that no light gets in. After 48 hours, I put the lids back on but still let them sit.

Yep... We've been trying various flavors from different (3 so far) suppliers in 5-10 ml sample sizes until we find "The One" all day vape. THEN we plan on buying a month or 2 supply to let age and have one hand. The problem is.... We haven't found "The One" yet. We're leaning toward BWB 555 right now and tried to order 50 gal of it last night but his site is down and he's not taking ANY orders.

Thanks for your in-site on the Steep factor. It calms my nerves a little to know that all custom brews need to steep. God knows we found that out on the BWB. lol

Thanks for the great info folks. I got my fingers crossed that this stuff greatly improves over some time. And I'll try popping the tops off and let them sit for a day. Sadly though.... This is all we have to vape right now and the wife just went 100% vapping 2 days ago so I'm worried she might slip back to analogs. Hell.... I'm on my 3rd week of being analog free.

Wow dude! Thats very cool of ya! As it turns out, I had bought some BWB Maxboro for my brother when I placed my order back about 3 weeks ago and HE STILL HAS IT!!!!!! WOOOOOFARKINHOOOOO!!!!!
So.... He said he would let me have it just as long as I replace it next time I order. HOT DAMN!!! Not only do I have a nice BWB tobacco to vape but it's even aged nicely for 3 weeks!! Man.... This stuff is waaaaaaay better than the early batch the wife and I vaped up. Oh chit!!! The wife!!! Hmmmm.... Wonder how I can sneak this stash by her. LOL

Very cool of you to offer though. Thanks!

I just rec'd an order from BWB and have a rec for anyone who has run low on vapable juice while you're ordering - buy one of Don's fruit flavors along w/your tobacco stuff. I am vaping strawberry right now (just out of the box) and it is truly the most amazing fruit flavor I've ever had. As in, this tastes like fruit - little seeds and tiny green part and all. In the meantime, my other juice can hang out and steep, because between this and the peach (same reaction - REAL fruit flavor - not what we do here on the boards, "fruit versus candy flavor?" - but like a piece of fruit in your mouth). That gives me time to actually let my other flavors steep and reach their full potential, while giving me something new to obsess over. Uh, vape. ;)

The funny thing is I thought I didn't care for straight fruit flavors quite so much. As it turns out, I just hadn't tried Don's yet.

I always got a baby powerder taste with the tobaccos from FSUSA. To each his own I guess.

Yep you're right! I forgot about the wife's Peach flavor she got. That stuff was amazing on day one! I personally hate peaches which is why it's the wifes stuff but his peach flavor was just like cutting a peach in half and taking a big ol lick of it. Amazing! I had no idea people could do that let alone with some e-cig flavor.

I agree with age. Since I already posted my Steeping vid in general I'll just give you a link to check out...

YouTube - Steeping Tips and Tricks

Quick shout out to Shan B for this vid. I didn't realize what a difference steeping made til I watched this video. I will definitely be steeping all my FSUSA juices I just received today. Glad I didn't try them yet!

I got three juices from FSUSA, last friday. I thought that there was no way that they would be able to lose that strong unusual flavor. Each day I would try them and each day, the flavor would mellow a little bit. After seven days, they taste completely different, in a good way. I'm really surprised at how much they changed, even though everyone said they would.
FSUSA's juice is really good stuff, give it some time and you'll see.
One thing that seemed to accelerate the process for me, was to leave the top off for a day and let the air get to it.
