Have been working over 10 hours a day for over a week, just trying to find ways to relax before.... Night all.

I got tagged to be included in a formal presentation last night to oppose a student center that has been proposed to be built a couple blocks away. Now, knowing that I live close to a college, you wouldn't think that this is a big deal--until you stop to consider that our area is zoned single family residential, while student groups and uses are called out in the community plan at a location about half a mile to the east... Of course, being part of the formal presentation means that I will have to include much more material than I was planning to say... and the next hearing on the project is tomorrow. Sigh.

Things finally settled down some today. Still got some stuff left over but that's waiting on other folks.
Had a terrible disappointment this afternoon - for a few minutes I was thinking it was Thu and the week almost done then I realized it wasn't - big bummer.
