Sorry your ill Blue get to feeling better. I have not like I said anxiety and stress is killing me and last night was the last straw. This is what I emailed the
three higher ups last night after another disaster.
"This is Ryan Smith at Amarillo south, as I came in early today as usual Jesus Let me know his eight hours was nothing more than guests coming to him hot to state their TV's are not working and that their rooms were dirty.
So he could get away from the desk and clean the rooms for housekeeping, I clocked in an hour early. Lets get to a few problems. One FD feels gipped when we have to clean rooms for guests, the stress of trying to do it fast and right as they wait in the lobby, knowing HK walked out again giving FD the end of the stick.
If we are to clean the rooms for them we should get their paycheck. Then add that they are getting 55-60 hours a week to not clean rooms, yet if Jesus goes ten minutes over he is gotten onto, for staying to finish his job after doing others on top of it.
As I told Latoya on the phone call the situation has devolved so much that a HK came to Jayme on the FD and asked. "why did you put that lady in a dirty room?" Her answer "I assumed if you marked the room clean in the system you actually did your job."
The HK are getting permission to leave as well with rooms left dirty, and here is the breakdown.

So up to twenty hours a week OT to not do their job and then the FD get the blame and heat. Jesus stormed out mad and rightfully so. Wondering why as we all do, that we have to do their job while getting in trouble for doing above and beyond.
The guests who return are so used to it that they say "You want to check the room first to see if it is dirty?" They are now telling us, not just me. When they tell us their problem, we say. "Sorry, we will make a note of it."
And we have the list is long daily and weekly for months. They tell us "Taking notes is not working" And it is not, not one write up for the bad behavior in
three months and longer so I have been told.
This is not random or unique, it used to be about five months ago that HK would just kill us on the weekend but for the last three months they do it all week long like this is a game. We need a manger in the hotel with power and authority to write up and terminate the bad apples, you are about to lose all the good employees and only have the bad, they are telling me so."
Expecting a phone call and will not answer but tell her to email me, done with voice commands and the I have no clue mentality. By email so I can print it if need be and have a paper trail. IT is Dee who told me to do PA and breakfast wrong and piled it on, it is her that also is letting them go without cleaning and got on to Jesus for going ten minutes over.
Breakfast lady said she will not be in tomorrow, I am not staying not my problem. Newest girl I trained is worthless, keeps saying she is going to be the manager and I think they might be. On her phone all day, sits in the chair making mistakes. Told the breakfast lady I did not train her on prepping the room, huh can't wait to see her tomorrow morning.
After w stopped off by the two hotels about two minutes drive from where I live and spoke to the GM at the holiday inn here in Canyon, yes the hip college sorta town I used to share pictures from. Sounds promising and looks much nicer, will turn that in tomorrow after I fill it out on the clock tonight. Done with that hotel.
