Sounds like you think people with small PV's are newbs that havent tried a mod yet...
Well now you know that there are people that would rather fill a cart and change a batt a couple of times a day, than having to drag a MOD around. I couldn't care less about a 6ml carto. What I do care about it that people are saying their maxx cartos run longer on the same amount of juice as old 808's. So glad Leaford is working on making a cig device better, instead of just making everything bigger. The latter is not very innovative, IMO.
I acually have a friend here, that says the same as you, but just for fun, tried my kr8. He was very impressed with the hit and taste he got, and said hmm maybe I should get one of these...eh like just for going out.. haha.
But hey, exactly, if it works for you.... happy holidays...

I agree with you 100%. I've been vaping for over 2 years and I still prefer the smaller batteries. I use a Ego-PT at home when I am on the computer but honestly I like my small batteries and I still like autos. I noticed a lot of people say that the small style is for new users and I hear people saying new users like auto and graduate to manual.

Well truthfully I did the same thing and I enjoyed the benefits of the manual for the fact that it lessened the primer puff stage. I'm going to be ordering a Bloog MF soon because it seems like the device I am looking for. A small battery, its automatic and doesn't need all the primer puffs.

I still like holding the smaller ones like a real cig and I just don't like the big mods. Truth is, it seems like every week a "new" mod comes out yet they all just look the same to me. It's just another flashlight with a different style switch and a new fancy name. The sad part is they all do the same thing and some people just keep buying them up wasting money with a drawer full of devices that honestly are almost identical.

The only mod I would even consider would be the Little Sister since it looks small like a Bic lighter and it offers variable voltage so I could experiment with different flavors. I'm glad that Leaford is sticking to the same size options and If they want to impress me then make it even smaller (much like these 48's that are identical to the size of a analog) and decrease the weight even more and improve battery life and I would use that device for life!

But claiming they are for "beginners" is just silly.

I have the silver eGo with a 1000 mah battery; mega atty and cart - so it doesn't look like a cigarette when I use it in public. At a couple of bars, I pulled it out and was headed for the door to go outside for a couple of drags with the bartenders stopped me and told me it was okay to vape inside! So there is an advantage to not having you PV look like a cigarette!

will just drain the Bloogs to fast aswell.......I only get an hour on the minis...

you only get an hour with small batts? with mildly heavy vaping, i use 3-4 a day (two batts and charge each one once with the pcc in the early afternoon). usually use 3-4 ml a day... so for me, i guess that's more like 2-4 hours each.

wake up at 7, go through both batts by 2-3pm

EDIT: that's when i only used the bloog. now that i have the darwin, they last much longer :) but... i still use them alot, no mod feels the same as an automatic cigstyle.

I have a riva from lf and it does seem to give a better performance than my egos... Havent measured it though.

There is no reason why a Riva would give a better vape than an Ego or vica versa. It is the juice and the carto that determines your hit flavor and the amount of smoke. If your Riva is a true 3.7 volt then to get get the same vape on the Ego use a lower ohm carto with the Ego. What really matters with batteries is how long they last, reliability and for some the way they look. All they do is deliver electricity to the coil,

Yea a true 3.7 riva would give a better vape than an Ego. Sure you could compensate with another atomizer but if you took that and put it on the Riva it would still be better on the Riva.

Not really true. I have both and like the Ego better. There is a difference in the voltage and the way the voltage is delivered. all other things being equal, I like the Ego power delivery better.

All they do is deliver electricity to the coil,

From what I read in Scottbee's voltage thread they don't just deliver different voltages, they do it in different ways. PWM

You're right. An Ego will deliver around 3.2 to 3.0 volts until the battery drains to the point where it cuts off. While a KR808 will start at 4.2 and eventually go down to abuot 3.3 ohms. Most of the time it will be in the 3.7 range. So an Ego will give you a smoother vape from the time it starts to the time it cuts off for recharging. For the KR808 the smaller the battery the more noticeable that change in voltage will be.
However 3.0 ohm carto on a 3.7 volt KR808 will use 4.3 watts. A 2.4 ohm carto running at 3.2 volts on a 3.7 volt Ego will also use 4.3 watts. The vape won't be exactly the same but very close to it. You can also adjust the flavor and the pg/vg ratio to fine tune it if want. I do notice a difference right at beginning with a fully charged KR808 and at the end of the vape. When I notice it at the end I put it on the charger and I like the extra hit at the beginning. I also use the lager XL's.

I don't really have any preference for one or the based on how they vape.
