It is.. Sooperdrave must have gotten threads mixed up... it happens to all once in a while:blush:

But this is a rewiev about the bloog, somehow it just turned into a more general discussion on kr8 stuff.. Maybe because the nhaler kit has the same pcc and batt. So not so much off topic when you think about it..
actually, this is my bad. i thought we were in the bloog forum. sorry!
The Nhaler kit is the better deal, apparently according to drew he has the same cartos...they are just longer and hold more juice and are sold separate from the pcc/battery combo.

I think its relevant to any review to post price comparisons, after all if someone was reviewing an ego they payed 100 dollars for it would be in everyone's best interest who is reading the review to know you could go somewhere else and snag one for 39.99.

once again, my bad. see above.

Lets face it, nothing really stays exclusive forever around here, the ovale tank was only available through them for...what a month? a few weeks? It happens. Now you see tanks of every color imaginable.
the cartos are not the same. they are larger and have a lower resistance, plus the batts he has were not specifically designed for his cartos... bloogs cartos are specifically designed for bloogs batts.
They have the condoms on the ends, but ALSO the little rubber mouth piece. Those are in all of the maxxfusion cartos (prefilled AND blanks)

i think he/she is taliking about the plugs that go in the hole of the batt end of the carto.

they actually are the same ohms if you look at the web page...even though he calls them LR I think he means LR for kr808 land
2.4 isn't really LR in 510 land, but they are both 2.4-2.6 correct?

The batts he has are the batts bloog has it seems....I will go out and get some and test them out soon. I was going to order some bloog cartos today actually to look over but the shipping there is 7 and some change to I figured I better wait to order higher amounts.

No worries, I'm over here & over on the bloog forum - it can get confusing :)

Sooperdrave how is your Bloog holding up?
better than anything i ever bought from V4L.

bloogs cartos are standard size and are 2.4-2.6 ohms. the cartos that nhaler has that are supposed to be the same tech as the bloogs are jumbo cartos and are 2.0. the standard size cartos that nhaler has are regular old boge 808 cartos (drew said so himself). the type of batt that bloog has may be what nhaler has....who knows for sure with drew.
yah, ive been asking the people at bloog why they cant use the free priority flat rate boxes that cost 5.25 to ship anywhere in the usa, but i have not got any answers... isnt nhalers shipping 7 something too?

Thanks for the comparison, I really appreciate it! Its kinda hard to figure out what's just a lot of hype and what's actually a solid product. I guess its all trial & error, but I just keeping reading all over ecf trying to figure out what is the best product without actually buying every product :)

If you look at the actual item description...it says 2.4-2.6
KR808D-1 Jumbo Low Resistance Cartomizers (2 Ohm)
"They are blank and measure in at 2.3-2.6 ohms for a cool vape."

They are jumbo, which as I said somewhere, can be viewed as a plus or minus.... they hold more juice they vs they are slightly longer.

the type of batt that bloog has may be what nhaler has....who knows for sure with drew.

My last nhaler shipment was 3 bucks in shipping but it was just a couple of mod batteries and a drip tip so I don't know if it goes up or down with weight (I always choose the cheap option when given the choice on shipping). I wish bloog would use the flat rate boxes I tend to like that and other than dismal tracking on usps they seem to get to me pretty fast from anywhere in the US. I actually like those vendors that give you the option of one or the other because sometimes you need that next day mail and sometimes you don't.

I am not actually hating on bloog here, KR808's are the best automatic battery and if someone has made them better then that can only be a positive thing. I just think if you can get the battery from nhaler for cheaper, and it is the same...do it, that is a no brainer you can always go over to bloog for the cartos if you must have shorter cartos or you must have prefilled cartos.

I think a long lasting good quality automatic that is the size of a analog is one of the holy grails of getting more people to vape. If the bloog/nhaler/(and someone mentioned v4l diamond?) batteries are getting closer to that its a great thing.

That being said, this is an evolution not an revolution in equipment, some of the same problems that face all kr808's will still be there....the short (though slightly longer) battery life...kr808 pcc's are nothing new after all. The short total life span...this is just a matter of chemistry small mah batteries go through much more full charge cycles than large mah batteries...leaflord said 3 months I believe? I would have been more generous and said 6 but yea...they don't last forever and even before they die they charge for less and less total vaping time.
No atty support, the atties are just too small and unless you are extremely careful you risk ruining the automatic with dripping...I am a carto fan but I still pull out atomizers to test new juice from time to time...you don't always want to dedicate .8ml to a cart especially when with shipping a pack of bloog cartos comes to 3+ bucks a pop (ordering more than 5 will, of course, lowers that significantly)

That being said, go kr808's in all your glorious forms.

Hey soop maybe you misunderstood me, i was acually trying to say the same as the others ; )

My short MF's last me an 1,5 hours. I was expecting a bit more, but I do kinda chainvape.
My batts will be charged aprox 3 times a day, and a batt is said to have about 300 charges in them. So that fits with the 3 months..

The bloog cartos work beautifully on my reg kanger batts, but only one of my old chargers will charge them..
A reg carto on the bloog batt is kinda boring experience... I would say you need the cartos more than the batts, if it comes down to choice.
But then again not really, cus you can vape and vape on these batts and performance doesnt drop and they never need a rest. Reg kangers do..
It would take something extremely miraculous to get me to try some sort of atty/cart solution again after this...

Oh and ive gotten them to accept a 70-30 VG-PG blend..but my VG is cut with about 15% water...so not so thick.

I just tried 808d's for the first time starting last week and being a person who has been making my own mods for months I was really impressed with the amount of vapor and using them with the new clearomizers was even better IMO. I have been using my SLB 808D's since I got the kit and have hardly touched any of my mods I like it that much. The automatic battery sold me for the most part. I am enjoying the ease of the auto. I wish the batteries lasted a bit longer, but I have 5 spare batteries on the way now. I may just stick with 808's and clearomizers for the most part and only break out my mods for the plain fun I have modding and creating.

Now if they can make an 808d battery that lasts twice as long and retains the same size, I would be in heaven. :D ..I heard of an 808d XL but have not seen them yet.. Am interested in what those are all about. XL battery or XL carto's?? Both?? Hmmmm....

Honestly the size difference between a riva/ego 650 or 750 mah and a kr808 is not as big as some would have you believe, of course they look totally different and I like the sleek designs of kr808s (I really like the steel and red bloogs to be honest...I am wondering if I can scrape off the bloog logo on the steel one because I think a solid steel would look nice, in fact if it was solid all the way through with no led it would be amazing looking)

It is not wider than a lighter for instance, its about the same size as many pens. If you can carry a sharpie on you you can carry a 650 mah ego....that being said the psychological aspects of vaping on something like that are of course, user dependent.

If you skip to the 8 minute mark on this video it shows it next to several common objects (and a mini ecig)

I bought an adaptor from TW and tried the MF carto on the Tornado/Ego batt... draw is very hard.

I might try drilling out the adaptor to increase air flow...

You could also try loosening the kr808 from the adapter a bit...the main thing is the center contact point connects with the cartomizer my adapter form good prophet for 510's has an adjustable center screw...playing around with that may help.

Tornado/eGo batts are 3.2V. 808 cartos like the Bloog aren't designed to work well at that low voltage. KR808D batts are 3.7V.

I love my BMF, and the mini-PCC. I get a lot more than 1.5 hours out of a Bloog battery. I get in the 3-4 hour range, and I vape about as much as I smoked (and I smoked nearly 2 packs of analogs a day). I can't imaging how much I'd need to vape to have it die in 1.5 hours. Michelle, are you sure you got Maxx Fusion batteries, and not the regular Fusion batteries that are an older tech? The older batteries are $14 at bloog, and the Maxx Fusion are $20. Are you sure you got the $20 batteries? That battery life sounds more like regular 808 batteries. Leaford has said the MF batts are LiPo, a newer technology in e-cigarette batteries.

Have a riva and 2 egos... with a low ohm carto they vape good, but the thicknes is to much.. annoys the c... out of me.. Next "fatty" Im getting is the 900 mAh g400. Wish to god they will make a shorter one.. like 700 mAh or something.. My dreamcig..
