Hey Hugrem....you weren't puffing on a dry cartridge, were ya? Because that would not be a good thing...you need to drip some liquid in there first!
It can burn the filler material in the cartridge. It probably didn't hurt much just for the second you pressed it but I wouldn't do it again 
Your atomizer can also pop if it doesn't have any liquids in it.

I got 3 business cards
I also got three and have given them all out
Also, the atomizers are shipped with a primer fluid in them (to resist oxidation)...you need to blow that liquid out of the atomizer first because it won't taste very good! Just wrap a piece of tissue around the connector end of the atomizer and blow hard from the top end...that should get most of it out. Then drip 3-5 drops of eliquid directly onto the coils.
