I have been looking for a new tank for my new mod coming in the mail this friday (Beyang 30W, 2200mah, 0.2ohm-3.0ohm, similar to istick30). I have been using mostly e-vod type heads with tanks/clearos (often hit and miss, with lots of burn taste) but nothing new in the last year or so and now with all the new stuff I am lost between old systems and new sub-ohm (new to me).

Looking for something for a constant, no hassle vaping that has good QC on heads/coils/cartos (I just want to vape and enjoy it but don't we all)

It needs:
* 510 thread
* 20-22mm diameter
* under 70-75mm tall if possible

I was looking at:
* Smok T-Dux 4.0
* Aspire Atlantis (2ml only, unless you get a larger tube).
* Subtank-mini
* Aerotank Mega
* K2 Tank (but uses evod heads..sooo.)
* Delta II

I have never tried carto-tanks, but open to anything that may fit my needs. I have read threads but kinda lost.

Also looking for a small dripping atomizer or small clearos to test new ejuice with (only vaped 2 flavors in the last year).

Hassle free good vape for over a year for me was smok carto 2 ohm in a ibtanked carto tank. I've moved on to other things but still use this set up and consider is one if the most consistant fiddle free vapes I had...

If ya want fun look into joyetech egrip... my new fave... lol always something newer out there though!

I also have on their way a new mod (Cloupor mini) and a ”unicorn” clearo-tank (Subtank mini), but I must admit I'm having second thoughts about them both.

Lemo looks great on paper and has had many rave reviews, but some say it's kinda noisy - a major issue for me. (Coming from a ”whistling Russian”).

I'd go for Delta II (with the rebuildable add-on).

cant suggest the tdux 4. i have lots of flooding/leaking issues with it. had to mod the coil heads to get it to work right. stock heads dont give great flavor either. also draw is a bit tight. i dont own one, but from what ive seen id go sub tank mini. im getting one as soon as i can

I would say get either the subtank or the lemo/lemo drop. I just got my lemo yesterday and its extremely easy to wick and build on, holds 5ml and takes a huge freaking turd on my aerotank mega, and nautilus.

Thanks all for the advices... right now I am reducing my list to the Subtank Mini or the Delta 2. Both come with standard and RBA heads.

Delta 2:
* Harder to break than subtank

Subtank Mini:
* 4.5ml instead of 3.5ml on Delta2

So now, really it all comes to price/quality of coil heads (might try to build coils but won't be for quite a while).

PS: @Vapey_McVape: I was thinking of getting a Cloupor Mini as backup, didn't want for main since it's a bit boxy for my tastes.

Also wondering whenever I would use the 0.5ohm heads for them. Thinking more the 1ohm or 1.5-1.8ohm ones.

I just read about the melting on the Cloupor Mini, watch out with those.. low rate but it's crazy that they wouldn't recall them. Definitely not going to be my backup device o_O

As far as for my choice of Tank, I am still unsure, I would appreciate more info from vapers that have one or more of them. I might be visiting sweet-vapes saturday since they have them all in stock, about an hour away and will have my Beyang by then.

One thing I read/watched about subohm tanks is that they reduce battery life, in the case of the fixed battery I will have, I was thinking of using the 1 to 1.5 ohm heads instead of the 0.5. Has anyone used them, what are the difference between them as far as taste, vapor, battery.

Thank you

So I went to sweet-vapes in Sheboygan and got myself the Subtank Mini + "Kanger Subtank RBA Pre-Built Coils" (20 1ohm coil + 2 pads of cotton for $5.95) + some Strawberry Cotton Candy juice at 18mg.

On the way back, I put some juice on the 1.2ohm head that came with it, filled the tank and fiddled with it for an hour...coughing my way back (I wasn't driving thank god). It wasn't burned taste at all but super strong throat killing puffs... as I played with air opening + different wattage I realized maybe it was just the stock coil??

Got home, poped the coil that came in the RBA, replaced it with one of the 1ohm coil I got from sweetvapes, added cotton (all that so much easier than I thought it would be)...wetted the rba, put it back in the tank and worryingly took a puff at 9W... OMG sooo much better.. not an insane amount of vaper but not throat killing and awesome taste...

Question, seems over 10W, it just gets too strong, could it be the 18mg of nic ? I was used to 24mg before with my old cheap/crappy tanks from fasttech.

Here is a few pics of the Beyang with the Subtank Mini (perfect fit):

The price of the coils for the Delta II is a deal breaker for me. The sites I checked were $25 for 5 coils. I've seen the Subtank coils for $13-$15 for 5. I don't think the Delta II comes with the RBA base either, you have to pay another $15 to buy it separately.

Yep, that was what made me go with Subtank, and it seemed easier to install new coils (that and more juice, easy to see juice level).

It's the nicotine probably. I want say anything original...try with lower nic. These coils are supposed to have optimum performance at 25-30 Watts.

I read in many post that ppl have had bad luck with the coil heads coming with the tank, seems it was the same for me. I'll order some 6mg I think and see how it goes, for now vaping at 10W seems to work well for the 18mg but vapor of course isn't all that high.

I normally vaped high nic. 18/24mg but found with a new device, lower resistance coils and higher wattage it was way to strong. Sadly I had just restocked my juices and have to wait to get some lower nic. So, I decided to dilute my juices with straight vg and so far so good... it's an option. And you can get it at a local store like rite aid or cvs. :)
