The Chinese won't submit any products for approval. The process is an insult to to everybody's intelligence. The proper approach would be for the FDA to make standards. But there are no standards in the rules. That's either because the FDA wants vaping to go away, corruption. Or because they don't know what standards to choose, incompetence.People, F34r is obviously a fairly positive and optimistic person. Why would we even want to destroy his brave new world dreams?
I'm glad the FDA are being sued on a regular basis now, something had to be just right about the US law system!
What I'm not so happy about though is the way the Chinese manufacturers have been reacting (well) to the FDA's intentions while I never saw them worrying about the European TPD. I feel let down.![]()
I don't mind the age restriction, honestly. If I were to have an offspring I wouldn't want them vaping period, until they're of age and have the right mindset to decide for themselves what is actually good for them.
First of Mitch Zeller said that will cost anywhere between 150,000 to over one million per PMTA application. The other stuff cost MUCH more than it does on the street BTW. Sorry but I believe CASAA not you. You're a fool if you believe shops will still exist if these deeming regulations stay the same. Hell cigar shops won't even exist!
The deeming regs take away our vaping gear not our guns.If you believe everything the CASAA tells you, I suggest you start thinking for yourself, read a little more and use some common sense. The CASAA is just like the NRA; they tell their constituents that if you don't heed our warnings and believe all of our rhetoric then your rights will be stripped by the government. Support groups such as these tend to heighten the threats of government to garner support to their cause, panic creates fear, fear creates an outcry and so on...
Don't get me wrong, but I do appreciate the premise of these groups, however, when their rhetoric starts to create hysteria among their followers, then they need to change their rhetoric to something less fearful and a bit more hopeful. I love my vape and I love my guns, but I don't fear them being taken away because the Chicken Little's of the world say so.
Keep calm and vape on, it'll all be fine, a bit different I'm sure, but vaping will continue to exist one way or another.
Some of us did but were still shocked at the lengths they are taking---Give an inch and they will take a mile--seems they are taking several of themI feel clever. I'm going to post this everywhere (or at least until I get bored - 3-2-1...).

How did we not see this coming?
What part of knock it off was not understood?

They will eventually take the guns, the Australian example has already been mentioned...just a matter of time on that issue. There will never be another US of A civil war...the citizens are far too out gunned by the machine. Any uprising will be quelled before it ever gains any momentum. You are being watched and monitored...24/7

Was this quote by Bush Sr.? He was a very prudent President you know. What's that old saying?
The prudent person hopes for the best, but plans for the worst.
You can't be this naive. I've been in this game since 09, they plan to kill the industry. It's what they wanted. Both BT and BP do not want people to quit smoking and the government does not want to give up the easy tax revenue that they get from cigarettes. Big Tobacco has done this before with roll you own, and by encouraging regulations that would cripple competition. There is nothing preventing them from doing this again.
They have played games this last 7 years only to look like they planned to listen, they never did. The FDA is the enemy of the people, it's time you realize that.
