I'm quoting this because I spent ALL DAY (I was bored) researching not only vaping mods but prices. Oktyabr hit the nail on the head. Everything I ordered was from that post.

Thanks! I'm glad someone else benefited from my extensive deal hunting and research. I get that way about anything electronic before I buy it.

P.S. I may end up with an eVic too... the jury is still out on their durability I think. But if it's any consolation the VAMO is a 5 amp rated device, the eVic is limited to 2.5-2.75 amps and that prothingy? 3.5 I do believe... ;)

There may be some argument about this but I think most will agree that those Panasonics I listed are some of the best you will find anywhere... In fact I think AW gets theirs from Panasonic, puts their label on them and raises the price. I *could* be wrong about that so don't hold me to it. All I am reasonably sure of is that AW is no better brand than actual factory labeled panasonic. A little worse? Could be, but you aren't going to go wrong with 2250mah Panasonics at that price.

Nope there should be NO argument. As far as I am concerned (and many others) these are the best 18650 batts around. I bought my first one about 18 months ago and quickly ordered more. They work as strong as they did when I first got them. I run them hard and they have been worth every penny.

If I learned one thing from lurking this site it's provari has a huge following and you don't screw with it. I hate how almost every thread I read has someone bashing something not provari. It can be discouraging searching for info on something else. The way I figure it, I was happy as hell with my eGo battery and CE5's. I can only be more excited for the next step up... If it sucks I wasted under $40 on the thing. If not I saved $100 not going with the $140 provari.

Yeah, I went through the same process and bought what you did, except for an Xtar charger. Don't be too concerned with all the Provari stuff. Both perform the same purpose, only the Vamo has a couple more functions. I've been using my Vamo for several weeks and I'm very satisfied with it. I read a lot of posts about devices costing unbelievable amounts, but doubt that they really perform that differently. I believe in "most bang for the buck".

just so you know. protected batteries do not work on the Vamo's. circuit protection built in. you need a high drain unprotected battery to make the thing fire. when i got mine, i threw a protected battery in it, and it lit up for a second, and did not work after that. once i put the correct battery in it, it fired like a c#$%k pipe.:toast:

Hopefully my SS V2 will be here today :D along with 2 Samsung_ICR18650_2600mAh

Is it just me or are there no LiMn 18350s to be had right now? Anyone know a vendor that has them to sell?
I have found no less than 15 vape etailers sold out of them :( Glad I took a minute to read up though, I was all set to checkout with some protected Li-Ion 1200mah TrustFire.

Hmm.. I need to see if DV can get those i2/i4 chargers in.

I'm loving the Vamo, and a Griffin. What I don't love is the connector/centerpin issue - but that will soon be fixed, when I can find those #60 o-rings at a local shop.

I understand the chrome Vamo might just be the SS with a higher polish. Can anyone verify this?

The SS V2 I got in today is the first vamo I've seen in person.. it's a lot shinier than I expected. Would have preferred an actual brushed look. I am pleased with the build quality, and I have a pack of #60's on hand just in case. FYI they were like $2.50 for a ten pack at Home Depot.

Oh and I found some 18350s this morning :) Right Here
