i would like the kit with the batteries and charger. but whats the best battery to put in the vamo because i see that the 18650's wiggle alot and can sometimes turn the device off but i also work long hours and need a battery to last me all day without carrying batteries in my pocket along with the device. not to mention everything else in my pockets such as keys, and phone. needs to be really durable.

I use 18650 button tops that don't rattle or wiggle at all. I carry a 18350 as a backup.

I ordered my Vamo on a Thursday and received it on a Tuesday from High Desert Vapes. It takes them about a day to process your order and then they ship it priority USPS with tracking info. I would say ordering from Vaporbreak is a good buy if you don't mind the wait and already have the necessary equipment like batteries and chargers and atty's because it's only the Vamo tube they are selling.

The SS from Vaporbreak is $29, $35 with shipping. I've ordered one as a backup on 3/26. Will post when it arrives to let you know how long it takes.

that is why i would need a great vamo kit because i dont have all that stuff even though there is a brick and mortar shop close by i still like to save money by just getting the kit instead of buying everything seperately. but vaporbreak is where i would go to pick up a spare tube if needed now that i know the tube is cheaper there.

again, sorry for all the newbish questions. just really like to know what i am getting myself into. my wife just thinks i am obsessive because i just started vaping 3 months ago.

sorry for me posting in the newbie forum.. . Think I know what you mean, hehe, i started hm 2 months ago. But do ask away of course, I do. The VAMO is double the weight of the lavatube, and I wouldn't get the VAMO again, no matter how cool people think it is.

If I were buying a VAMO setup today (and I might be ordering a second one anyway) this is exactly what I would order:

VAMO V2 from Exhalevapors via ........'s coupon = $36.97. This is where I got my first one and yes, they are V2 (BIG gold spring and red gasket for flat tops in the top of the battery compartment). Ships from Texas so no "several weeks" wait:
http://.........blogspot.com/2013/03/in-stock-chrome-vamo-deal-3697.html

NiteCore Intellicharge i4 2nd Gen (yellow label) = $23.99 with free shipping. I got my first charger in a kit like the High Desert one and wish I would have bought a good one right off the bat instead of trying to save a few dollars on a smaller, slower, generic one. Amazon has these too but this link is the best deal right now that I've found:
http://www.electronicstix.com/collections/mod-battery-chargers/products/nitecore-intellicharge-i4

Four genuine Panasonic CGR18650CH 2250mah via Amazon = $26.00 with free shipping. These are probably *the* most popular battery for VAMOs and other such tube mods. Panasonic stopped production of these so get them while they are hot!
Amazon.com: 4pcs Panasonic CGR18650CH 3.6 Volt Li-ion shipping free 18650 Battery 2250 mAh: Everything Else

It's true the Kanger T3, etc. will NOT fit on a VAMO, but pretty much everything else with an eGo or 510 threading *will fit* and if you must have Kangers the adapter/spacer is only like $2... just be careful not to crank it down super tight if you get one of these adapters!!! There were problems with some adapters pushing the center connector into it's isolator, possibly even ripping the tiny o-ring . Might be a V1 problem but I just prefer not taking any chances. I keep a Spinner (my backup) for Kangers, which I rarely use anyway.

Everything you ever need to know about batteries (a MUST READ for beginners!!!): http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...scussion/355443-read-batteries-explained.html

Why is what ?

the provari do have variable wattage right ?

No, the current version of provari does not include variable wattage.

This can (and likely will) turn into a fanboi tugawar once the prothingy owners get wind of it. There are already HUGE "VAMO vs. Provari" threads in this forum (search for it, if you like). I have nothing against provari... they are American made and have the best warranty in the business... and will likely buy one sometime down the road... but when a VAMO does more and costs 1/5th of the price (less than what I was spending on cigarettes in one week) it was an easy choice for me.
