Ok everyone. The cabinet is finally done. Its not the one I originally started building. That one is done but I don't really like it. Looks too cheesy. So I thought and thought and thought of something else. I was looking out of my garage and saw my neighbor was throwing away a huge head board. It had cabinet doors with painted glass and everything. I asked if I could have it. They carried it into my garage. I immediately began to disassemble the head board one handed. I began building. and this is what I came up with.

I do have an adjustment to do on it. I want to install a battery docking/charging station in it. That will take about 20 mins.

Now remember... I built this about 75% one handed.

Did you cut one of your hands off 25% of the way through?

In all seriousness, nicely done, it looks beautiful!

If I thought that cutting my arm off at the shoulder 25% of the way through would take me out of the misery I am in I would have done it. LOL.... In all seriousness I blew my shoulder out last June. Have had 2 surgeries to repair and they failed. Next surgery will be a total replacement... I had to surrender my Class A CDL to the state and my drumming career may be a memory.... That's I guess and we have to accept the cards dealt.

I appreciate all of the kind words and enthusiasm guys. Im sorry I haven't said this sooner and the fact I haven't been on in a while. Shoulder has really got me down. Mobility now is almost non existant and the pain..... Well lets just say I am about ready to put my head through a wall. I have been referred to 2 different surgeons who are 2 of the top 10 in this country. I have a feeling that a total replacement is right around the corner and possible nerve repair as well. I am now officially retired and at the age of 46. I was told by my fiancé's daughter that since I am such a history buff that I need to go back to school get my teaching degree in history with my Masters in The American Civil War... I dunno... Lets get past this next crucial step and see what kind of mobility they can give me after surgery number 3 with in the last 2 years....
