THE VAPOR ROOM
GINGER'S RY4

18mg, Gripper, 50/50 , 3ohm carto,@6v, steeped one week as suggested by TVR

Color- clear (basically)

Vapor-good

Throat hit- good

Subtle, medium flavored, or strong flavored- medium-

Non sweet, slightly sweet, sweet, very sweet - sweet

Is it clean? (Is it free of any, perfumy, soapy or chemical like notes?)-yes

OVERALL RATING (Bad, ok, good, great) good

MY EXPERIENCE & OPINION YMMV

It was a good day. #1 I found my fav. drip tip under the fridge at work-yuck I know. #2 It has now been a week and I can break into my 10 flavor sample pack from TVR!

You know what I went for first, RY4-Ginger's RY4 to be exact. That means after this review there will be 9 more to follow.

My atty is dying so I threw it in a carto at work. Sweet, and slightly sour Gingers RY4 is along the lines of VS ry4, or say Apollo ry4 (the few drops I tried so far).

I like it. It has nice caramel vanilla tones, the tobacco is light, and it has the slight nuttiness of the Chinese type. It rests on the desserty side being so sweet, but not in an ooey gooey caramel rich way. Sweet Chinese ry4. Dekang eat your heart out. This is how I like the Asian ry4s.

You receive a free 15ml with your first purchase. There are sales on 30mls for $10. Free shipping over $100, if you refer a friend you get a 15ml. So say I am your friend and I referred you lol

6mls are $5, 15mls are $10 , 30mls are $17.

Use code thankyou for 10% off.

dog,

Let me chime in here with mostly agreement, but also a slightly different opinion.

While TVR Ginger's RY4 (at least the liquid I have) does bear some a resemblance to Apollo RY4 and VaporStation VS4, I feel that both of the latter juices are elevated by specific flavor elements. Apollo RY4 has (to me) a very nice tobacco flavor with a good bite that's very satisfying, and the sourness in VS4 works beautifully in contrast with the sweetness to complement and round out the flavor profile.

Ginger's RY4, on the other hand, possesses all the basic RY4 elements plus a slight sourness (I can't tell if it has any nut flavor---if so, it's very slight), but nothing stands out to mark the juice as special. In other words, I feel that Ginger's is a well-made RY4, but lacks any "magic" to distinguish it from the herd. By contrast, both Apollo RY4 and VaporStation VS4 have standout elements, Apollo especially.

That's why Apollo gets an A grade from me (for the terrific tobacco), and VS4 a B+ (for the nicely-integrated sourness), while Ginger's RY4 earns only a C+ (for being OK, but not particularly special).

If I were stranded on a desert island (with battery recharge power) and had only one juice---Ginger's RY4, would I vape it? You bet, and happily. But I'd rather have Apollo RY4 or VS4.

Just my opinion, of course.

I didn't find it particularly unique either. Sweet n sour ry4....if only it came with orange chicken. That's why I only said it was good-not great,or outstanding or even a good plus.

I don't feel someone who likes ry4s in general would be disappointed in purchasing this, just not blown away

We're definitely on the same page with this one, dog---as we are with so many juices.
