I have 2 of them in my out of rotation drawer. It's been there for years. I just can't seem to put a proper build on it.

I have seen that video and many others. It looks simple but my fingers don't really cooperate. Besides, I discovered squonking and that's where I've been for the past few months. Thanks for the suggestion though.

I tried that kind of build on it. I had it built in a vape shop. It was great. I just don't like the idea of having to go to a vape shop every time I need to clean and rebuild. If you can get it right you will really enjoy the Kraken. I still see them in some vape shops here.
Keep looking, when you get hold of one you'll love it.
Here's mine, all 3 genuine VA, 2x brass 1x stainless.
The middle one has been in daily use for 4+ years, it's had at least 10 replacement glass tanks & has been dropped more times than I care to admit, still vapes like a new one.
Retired last week in favour of the stainless one which suits the Kennedy vindicator better.
Current build is 26g kanthal 4.5 wraps on #400 mesh, .32 ohm.
Kraken is fine on a hybrid mod, all my tube mods are hybrid, if the pin doesn't protrude enough a little tap on the centre post will push it down enough.

can i ask if you have a SS 22mm 18350 mech or one that will shorten to 18350?
if you do could i see a picture of the brass kraken sitting on top off it, still mech hunting and a SS mini popped up but not sure if it will go with a brass one

I've only got brass mechs in 18350, no ss sorry!
I haven't run an 18350 with a kraken for a long time, realistically you'll be building under .6 ohm for a dual coil & while an 18350 can fire that safely battery sag is pretty bad & batteries won't last long.
18490 is much better & with a hybrid top & compact button not much taller than a basic 18350 mod.
