I change out the 18650 after 24 hours just as matter of course.

Have done that with everything apart from an Altoids Box that runs 2 x 18650's which I have never been able to kill off completely.

I do that as I know the battery could die in the next 12 - 18 hours I am at work so just swap it out as I have a few 18650's so it is easier to swap it than to be possibly vapeless. Sort of paranoid about the vapeless thing having had it happen to me once I take the VMod and a ProVari into work, sometimes the Altoids Box depending on what is in the tanks.

good thing you got 2... that's what backups are for. Send it back and they'll fix you up. Could take a while, but since it's pretty new, and perhaps depending on stock in hand, they might just get one back to you in a jif!
help, VMOD XL quit firing!! tried different atty, cartos and batteries that all work fine on my other XL
Anyone else had this issue? It is only 2 weeks old

LOL, that was first thing i looked at when girlfriend said it quit working.
Tried 4 batteries fully charged, new attys, old attys all of which worked on other XL. It has to be something simple, but I have looked over everything for over an hour, disassembled, washed, dried and reassembled :(

Just curious.... is the firing button turned to the off position? Not trying to be a smarta$$ or anything like that. I remember someone couldn't get theirs to fire and that was the problem....

Sahilm---you did great. Love the creativity, too. Thanks for sharing.

Tat -- PV Master. Woo Hoo! :)

lithod -- try calling customer service or using that on line chat feature at the Vapage site. Also, if you haven't -- do look at it Naked. See if the firing pin is actually hitting the battery. If all look the same the only other thing I can think of is that the inner pin has been compressed too far---so your atty is not making contact. That most likely means -- send it back for warranty replacement. I've had to do that with a lot pricier mods -- it's not uncommon.

kicked vmod xl with 18650 battery

warm regards
Sahil .

i love VV but i am learning to love my 3.7 pv's thanks to the plethora of LR atomizers. With the XL I find either a hot 1.8 or 2.0 or a warm (not hot) 1.5 Ohm atomizer works perfect with a good IMR AW 18650. You have shown how a modder who is not skilled can put together a VV in the XL and still keep the 18650... that is super!
