I'm trying to squeeze as much performance out of my Vmod XL and Vmod 2.0. I'm getting comfortable with RBAs the last week or so, having built coils on my iGo-L a couple of dozen times now.

I picked up an A7 to use on the Vmod XL with a 510-510 connector. Has anybody used any other RBAs on either of the Vmods?

I've seen the videos and have a new A7 and 510-510...but have done nothing yet.
Still debating if I want to go that route...
Thinking that it might be 'top heavy'...
And really just enjoying the easy, vape and pocket ability right now...
But, ya never know what I could do !!!

Those 3 IMR batteries I got from MVS...well turns out that I have to run them upside down !
They are a little shorter and the button top is a little taller that the Vapage ones....
So, on my vMod 2.0, the lock was not working...it would still fire in the locked position !
Flipped the battery over...works.
Go figure !

Just changed my second Hybird atty in vMod XL....
Not because it was popped (like I killed the first one )...
Because it was drawing hard, not completely blocked-
But I don't like to have to work so hard for a vape !
Running hybrids in all three vMods right now
Really like the nice vape they give.
Got the atty in a vodka bath right now.

Posted to bump the thread !

I'm so proud of myself! :p I've been using a shifu hybrid exclusively on my Vmod XL for 24 hours now! For me that's really something! lol! I don't know why it was so hard for me to get the hang of the atties...guess I was just so used to cartos. But the atties are sweet, and now I am finally getting the hang of using them...dang, but I'm happy!

Removing old flavor from a Vmod? HELP!

Okay..during my recent saga with my original Vmod that gave up the ghost, and before ShiFu helped me out with a new one, I bought a XL on the classies. I couldn't bear life without a Vmod. So, I got it...the seller was a good guy, and the Vmod was in good shape EXCEPT there was and still is lingering flavor from the other owner's juice. Ick. Yes, he cleaned it, and I washed it when I got it...but the unwanted taste is still in there. Reminds me of bubblegum. I DIY a menthol flavor...have been vaping it exclusively for a year in July...and NOTHING else will do for me. I'm very fussy about my juice and my menthol! It's very strong menthol...and NOT sweet. But when I vape on the previously used XL, I get a sickly sweet bubblegum-ish flavor in my menthol! And while it's not vile, I do not like it! I've tried repeated washings in very hot water and soaking the chassis in vodka several hours. I've tried then to just power vape through it, in the hopes my menthol will eventually overwhelm and eliminate that (ugh) sweet lingering taste.

Can anyone give me some tips/ideas that can help me get RID of this foreign sweet flavor in this chassis...a flavor I don't want? At all?

Thanks! In essense..that is pretty much what I had done anyway, with the exception that I used Vodka to soak, rather than isopropyl. I am not sure I want to risk any possibility of inhaling isopropyl. I'm funny that way. BUT...here's what I ended up doing, and so far this morning, near as I can tell, it's working :

I stripped down the Vmod to bare chassis then put a puddle in the upper connector (sans chimney) with my juice and sat it upright on a tissue (just in case) and let it just...well...sit. For hours. Then I turned the chassis upside down (the juice ran out onto the tissue of course) and put another puddle (probably 10 or 20 drops) of juice in the chamber where the bottle screws in and let it sit another couple of hours on a fresh tissue. This morning I wiped the whole thing down and put in my juice bottle, battery and atomizer and gave it a try.

It worked! At least so far, and it's been over an hour now vaping with it. No sweet at all now! Working terrific, in fact!

OK guys ... 4th gets taken care of (YAY!! 4th!!!:) ... And I'm still groaning here!! UGH!!!

So I get my latest order from Vapage today and one of the things I ordered was not in the box. :-( There was a notice stating it was out of stock and would be shipped at a later date. HOWEVER ... I go to the website and check ... And it's still available there ... Just like it was when I ordered! Ugh!!

And still no signs of the right atty's today! I had told them to just throw them in with this order to save on their shipping ... But nope! Nada!

Soooooooooooo frustrating! And back on the phone ... To constantly be sent to an answering machine!

I truly LOVE my VMods ... BUT ... Really????

Oh NO 2423kids!! This is soooo WRONG! That is pretty much what happened with the "Cracks" shell with me. It was listed on the website...but it never came. I did get a "Digital Camo" one instead, though. Eventually. After a while. A long while. And in my case, I didn't even get a note! What was it you ordered?

You aren't going to like hearing this...but I just got my v.2 Vmod and the spare bottles I ordered. And the slant coil hybrid atties.....

Oh noooo. That's the cone for the original vmod1. Just toss it.

It isn't a functional problem as the size of the shell is right -- just use the 2.0 chimney and cone. Silver looks good with green.:2cool:

I have a black vmod2 -- and though I loved the original matching cones that came with my shells for my v1, the shells fit perfectly and both of mine look great with a black cone.

(BTW, The VmodXL shells do come with matching cones).

The little guy is still cute tho, isn't he/she?

OOOOOOO NOOOOO
But...but...

I've just received my birthday present (Happy Birthday to me...I year of off the stinkies!) ! ! ! During the last big sale, I purchased my very first mod EVER!

I was successfully romanced 365, by an automatic (no fuss, no muss) tube factor in various sizes. (What can I say ~ I'm a fickle Woman. Alas. I found myself wondering...wandering...when I happened upon the land of V-modia. Seduced, cee-ducted, I just couldn't resist.

I'm currently enjoying the first date with the V 2.0. He's such a cutey. And so very smooth. As our romance progresses:D or regresses:( (one never knows about these things), I shall relate my adventures.

Happy Birthday Biendeb. Great accomplishment and nice celebration by getting your first mod.

Hope you and the little guy (vmod2) have a long vape friendly union!

And -- with J Wraps coming out, you'll be able to decorate him/her to your delight.

Here's where there might be some more info on them: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...s-stylish-tube-mod-wraps-355.html#post9684173

(And Biendeb -- if you get a bit more chatty on the forum, you'll also become an ECF Veteran and your "status" will change automatically. You have the first requirement, a member for a year. Now you just need some more posts---and the number 75 total comes to mind.)

Thank you Maam...
So far, so good. I've been using the little guy on and off most of the day. Actually, I'm a bit surprised. I was expecting (from reading other posts) a big learning curve, however I haven't had any problems whatsoever. Don't have a clue as to what I'm doing right (very little of the "s" word thing going on), but whatever it is, I hope I keep it up!

Love the wraps! They're beautiful and would definitely add to the aesthetic beauty! I do have a question though, and maybe you know. If one would put something like that on the chassis, would it void the warranty?
