No, would not affect the warranty. Plus, they peel off fairly easily. Also, I've never known anyone need to get a replacement shell/body due to warranty. People have painted them and decorated them with decals and all sorts of fun things.

And, so you know, the chassis is the inside plastic part. The metal is the body, even tho we usually call it the shell. It comes from the verbage of cars -- outside body, inside chassis.

So great on the learning curve. No, not much "s" needed with the vmod. Sometimes I think it's people familiar with other feeders that have more trouble with the vmod. Vmod feed is pretty effortless. My fav -- just sit in a lounge chair and vape and can often forget about "s".

Soooooo none of the cones that come with the shells for the 2.0's FIT??????

(Feeling a little witchy today!!!)

Whoa. I can feel your pain. Really. I can. Out of curiosity, today when I broke down and decided to get some more shifu atties with the mystery coupon, I took a look at the picture of the shells and cones for the 2.0 size Vmod. Oh man. You know that in that picture you can see the different threading on the bottom of the cones?? Like the average consumer is going to pay attention to such things! I guess they want to get rid of the v.1 shells and cones or something. But it's kinda unfair, y'know? A word of warning might have been appropriate, I think!

Greetings to all ~ Thoroughly enjoying this lovely Sunday afternoon, as well as my romance with 2.0 lovey. Who knew vaping could be such bliss?!!?! I cannot believe I tolerated the fat bats as long as I did! Being new to the mod scene, I have what will probably be considered a stupid question regarding battery charging. I understand green means go, but should one wait until it stays green in perpetuity? It's currently staying green with a quick red blink every 45 secs or so. :D

Getting ready to join the vmod family :D. Thanks to 2324kids!!

Checked out a blog on blind squanking where someone added a tube. Anyone try it?
Super excited to have finally bit the bullet. Now to figure out which juice I want to fill first! Need to get a couple more bottles I guess. I would like to have at least 3

Sounds promising! I have heard mostly good things about them. Been wanting to try one for a while but for some reason steered clear. It was either getting into rebuildables or this and I am pretty lazy when it comes to vaping and want to just vape so I went with the vmod...LOL Are you using the atty it came with or the carto?

Oh and I need another mod like I need a hole in my head but hey a girl has to have choices :)

I'm happier than my MaMa on a good cliffhanger, soap opera Friday! As I said, I haven't had it very long. I'm using the silo cart that was on it when it came. There's also an atty in the box, but since the cart's working so splendidly, I'll confess, I haven't tried it. I'm purposely all about the kiss factor these days ~ no muss...no fuss. And truthfully, carts are what I'm used to, although I do use attys to taste test my homemade brews.

I keep thinking (maybe a lil' bit annoyed???), and secretly hoping that I'll need to get the atty out and primed, as I've heard so many good things about them, but that lil' ol' part just keeps smokin'!

Our affair has been going strong all weekend. So much so, we've barely left the house. You know. A honeymoon! Lol. Today however, we will have to get going and leave the house. The boys (I have a mini Schnauzer and a Dorkie) have an appt. at the groomer's. I'm excited to see how this bad boy will travel (I'm out in the boonies).

Originally, I had planned to use him only at Home, and keep the ol' fat man bats for work. I thought I'd have at least "some issues" ~ NOT! So, depending on how the road trip goes today, and how the new object of my affection travels, that may or may not be the case.

I have been vaping my XL all weekend long. I really like this mod. And my wife likes it so much that she bought herself one as well. I like the cartos that came with it. But I also used a 1.5 ohm single coil Smoktech carto for another flavor. For me, it was even better. This is my first bottom feeder, and I have to say I am sold. VERY good mod here.

If the red blinks are that far apart...it's fine to use the battery. That is a built in gizmo that keeps the charge from "bleeding" back out if the battery is left on the charger after it's fully charged. If the blinks were only a few seconds apart...it's not ready. But 30 seconds or more? That puppy is primed and ready!!

When you can it is recommended to get a battery tester.

Had to give it a try. I really do like it. What surprised me the most is that my wife loved it so much. The first vape gear besides cartos that we agree on. See ya at the meet.

Thanks Fourthrok. I figured as much, but as I've never used these kinds of batteries, or this kind of charger, I wasn't sure.
