You're gonna love it ! Hey Andy I know you have Aero's , what can you tell me about them, as in do they play nice with the VMOD and do they give better flavor than the CISCO 306 LR.

Do like the 306 as well but get an extended drip.tip. That standard one's mouth section is barely above the zone so a bit awkward.
Just gone to a Hybrid for a while. I have a love mild dislike in all honesty with these. Get a good one and my they are good. It has been longevity that has been a concern but the one I have in there now is in its 3rd rotation and am going to use it for a week before going back to the 357 or Vivi Nova experiment.
Strange thing about attys. Yes I think the 357 is probably a good head above the others. The Aero, Hybrid and 306 are all very good. So far the most robust has certainly been the Aero but I am only 3 weeks into the 357.
Train fell off the rails there. I really do like all of them and struggle to think of being without the 357, Aero and Hybrids. I am out of 306's but will pick up some more at some point. Think that is what I am going to do just keep using them and see what I have to buy when they pop.

Hey Andy, gave the ViVi head a shot in my kicked XL w/306 drip tip(first time my XL has seen anything 510 threaded), Good Vapor, but not fond of the Flavor. Any suggestions on coil and wick to improve this thing? And all this talk around VModia about 357's made me pull the trigger, although I went with the Long Barrel 901 version(I really love 901's on the XL)
Keep your eyes open on the VMod.threads. Expecting an update on one of them today or later.
Have you tried a mesh wick? Just make certain it is well oxidised and you should be good. Thinking about giving cotton a try as well but uncertain as yet.
Yes 901 357's have a great reputation but I have to stop somewhere lol At least till I get through my current stock!

Haven't tried messing with it yet Andy, but I'll see if I can give the mesh a shot. And I know what you mean by stock, I stocked up on IKV 901's and have yet to replace one on anything but thought I'd give the HH a spin around the Block anyhow!!
Literally was talking to Isaac of IkenVape with my hands rammed into my pockets at Vapestock.
Had already promised myself the 357 for quite a few months so for that.
Really want to go through what I have before getting more Iken are on the list along with AVA as well as the 357 901's.

@StartEnd, you know the VMod itself is kind of like a battery -- it's not what determines the hit, vapor and flavor, it's the atomizer that does that. The feed and battery are remarkably uneventful on the Vmod once you get the hang of it, it just works. But do get a 1.5 ohm atty (or several different ones). The 4.8 volt NiMH stacks work fine with higher resistance atties if you get a charger with indicator lights, but they don't last long, and you get the same wattage for hours longer at 3.7 volts with 1.5 ohm atties.
BTW, something that seems self-evident, but might not be to everyone. If you're using tilt feeding, the bottle should ideally stay between about 2/3 full and 1/3 full. This is because: 1) you need some air space on top of the liquid to be able to reverse-squirsh juice back down into the bottle when you flood the atty, and 2) you need enough liquid to easily flow into the atty when you tilt a little. Outside those limits, it's not as effective. Like I said, duh, pretty obvious.
Yes, thank you, I do realize that its mainly the atty. I haven't vaped a lot at 3.7 so I will have to try a few different ohms as sometimes I'm happy with 6 watts and sometimes at 10 watts. Depends on the juice and my mood at the time I think. Thanks for the insight on batteries though, i always prefer longer use time.

I have never used the V2 only the XL.
I used pretty standard IMR 18650's for 99% of the time. The rest I use the 4.8 volt battery's that are the same length as the 18650.

I had the fantastic pleasure of the first atty I used on the VMod of having a short. Both the hot spring and the battery protection kicked in stopping a general melt down.
Does mean that I check every atty either on my ProVari or multi meter before screwing it in as even though everything worked out for me things still got very hot very quickly.

I often use RTD vapor for batteries and chargers. Super T Manufacturing is also quite popular for batteries, as well.
I like AW batteries. (The protected ones are the black ones). AW has been considered a very good battery maker for quite some time and ECF does recommend them.
Some vapers are starting to recommend a very specific panasonic set of #'s and letters and I have no reason to disagree, but you can't go wrong with AW, whether you go high drain (red) or protected.
And, the Vapage batteries aren't bad either and they are protected.
There are other ECF vendors that carry AW.
