In terms of battery life, any 18650 with a mah rating more than 2600 would last longer than the MVP.

In terms of power, the MVP tops out at 11 Watts, the VTR at 16 Watts (or, if you prefer VV, 5.0 Volts versus 6.0, respectively).

The VTR is a heavy, heavy beast, though. Probably about 2x the weight of the MVP - not an easy carry-around-all-day device. I think that's why they're pushing the belt holster for it.

The VTR is a tank ... luckily, I had a couple of older Blackberry holsters kicking around, it fits the VTR perfectly. The swivel clip is the icing on the cake.

Never thought of this. I'm gonna go digging through my stuff to look for older blackberry cases now haha. Thanks for the idea!

It hits like any other well made VV/VW. I compared it side by side to ProVari and worked pretty similar. I actually use RDAs more often on VTR than PV. So, no issues on performance. And here comes BUT...

Heavy! You can't carry this around. If you put it in your pocket, it is literally like carrying a brick. Yes, it is more compact with the tank sinking below (which was the reason I got it), but the weight makes it impossible to carry it around.

Finger prints! You can't keep it clean. No matter how often you clean it, it gets dirty very quickly.

Smell and sound. If you are using clearo like ProTank or iClear, be sure to use long drip tip. While the design of recessed tank looks beautiful, your face is now much closer to the mod. When I first got it, I was smelling the metallic smell from the mod while vaping. Also, there was very subtle electronic noise when firing. All these gets amplified when you are only few inches away from the mod.

Salut Papa,

I have had my VTR for almost three months now, and I love it! A 2600 mAh 18650 lasts me most of the day - I vape a lot (priorly a 2 PAD smoker). Although it is heavy, it is well balanced - at least for my little hands. I'm one of those "petite" women who happen to vape. Solid performance and I really enjoy the texture and flavour from the iClear 30S topper that comes with it. The clearo guard makes it very pocket (or purse) friendly. It has become my main vape with an ego and two itaste vv 3.0s as my backups.

A very solid and dependable piece of equipment.

Cheers,

Tache

Edit: for some reason I mixed up who the OP was. Anyway, I disagree about too heavy for pockets. I take mine with me everywhere and don't find it too cumbersome. YMMV

I don't hear the sounds that some people mention. I think I heard it once. It is heavy but that's no deal breaker, I love the vape and flavor the VTR produces. I got a great deal on it or I wouldn't have one, or at least that was my original thinking, and now I know I woulda been missing out on quite a good piece of equipment. I really do like it. I also have the MVP2, iTaste 3vv, a Provari. I also have a Vamo on the way as well as some sorta new pass-thru with an LCD screen on it. I don't know why I'm buying more stuff I already have what works.

The VTR should have been named the MPV, for Multi Purpose, Vaporizer.

You can Vape with it. Hammer a nail with it......And beat the hell out of a would be attacker with it.

Maybe "My Protective Vaporizer" would be more suitable. ;)

also, you can a few and use them for lifting weight.

I haven't used any other APV since I got my vtr in early October. Just occasionally a MVP and a k100 and love them both also. The VTR, for me, is perfect because I kept snapping tanks off at the connection and I love the look. I have the same "problem" (not a problem) that I see many people here share, I want to try and own them all, especially since I keep track of my savings STILL since I quit buying cigarettes

If the VTR could have carried two 18650 or four 18350 and recharged my cell phone... I would have bought it. Since it is a regulated mod the SVD became a winner when it came to Innokin mods. Still can't recharge my phone but I can use three different types of batteries and vape till my hearts content.

BUILDING MICRO COILS are all fun and games until you lose one on the carpet.
