I am wondering if an Authentic Lemo 2 wouldn't be a good choice for @Lannie to use.

Easy build deck with the side post holes and top side fill. Premade coils could be bought from FT to save on the coil winding part if needed.

Eleaf Lemo 2 - Eleaf, Joyetech - RTA’s & RDA’s

I have a lemo 2 and would never ever recommend it to anyone. Just the slightest bit of tightness to the glass and it cracks ever time.

I must agree with @chopdoc on this one. I have 3 Lemo v1s and a Lemo Drop...and 1 dreaded Lemo v2. The base of the chimney sits too close to the glass and juice can't get down there fast enough to keep up with wicking (at least for my max vg sauces). The only good thing about the v2 is the top/side fill. I haven't had an opportunity to crack the glass because I don't like to use it.

Not that long ago I did a lot of long distance bike rides. Was planning a ride next year from Louisiana to Idaho and was hoping to ride thru the badlands either on the way or back. Thanks to a doctor that royally screwed me up recently I doubt if we will be able to go next year but one day I want to.

We'll have to whoop you back in to shape with some shorter rides.

I'm with the Gypsy M/C. Our Jennings chapter has a fun "Run to da Bayou" run in March. Proceeds go to a veteran's home down there. They're about 2 hours from you. All of our rallies are family friendly and open to the public.

Some of those New Iberia, Crowley, Lafayette boys can party, thats for sure!

Just went thru 7 months and 8 surgeries for a completely botched up hernia repair and it is already totally failed so going on long runs at the moment are pretty much not in the picture. Not long ago I put a new battery in my Dyna, cranked it up and took it for a ride just to have to listen to hours upon hours of the missus and mother telling me how I shouldnt do things "that stupid" in my condition. :(

Mixed up some CAP VC1 at 1 ml VC1, .3 ml CAP Vanilla Whipped cream in a 30 ml 50/50 batch with 3 mg nic. Works much better for me in my Velocity mini.
Just Tootle Mod Wompin away at 19 watts. And it is not hot.

Welcome to the dark side! :D

I don't think Lannie runs MaxVG but I could be wrong. I imagine the Lemo 2 would work very nicely on a 50/50 juice.

The thing is, why in the world would they want to sell you 15 replacement tanks if there isnt a problem? Get a Kanger STM. I have both and the Lemo II is the only tank that ever came close to the performance of the STM but with the cracking glass issue, its not a contender. Plus with the STM the coil deck on the RBA is a breeze to build on and it has replacement coils if you dont want to build them.
You can buy any tank in mass quantity from FT for those that resell.
I thought the Lemo 2 would be a better choice than the STM for someone who has issues holding onto things...

Found out the ketchup dispenser I have are 12 oz so mixed up 340 ml of vanilla custard tonight. %5 Caps Van Cust V1, %2 TFA French Vanilla Creme, 3mg nicotine. Its getting a nice hot ultrasonic steep right now.

The great thing about the STM is it will hold the coil legs. It has a lip on each side of the screw that you slip the wire in and screw it down a bit and it makes all the differance in the world. It will also take up to a 3mm coil. With the newer versions RBA's the chimney stand pipes have a hole on each side in line with the coil so wicking is almost ridiculously easy.

I never had any problems with the Lemo II wicking. Even using max VG juice it wicked fine for me. The problem is the cracking glass.

The lemo II has a great RBA deck on it. It vapes excellent with awesome flavor delivery. Perfect amount of air for those of us who like airish lung hits. Very well thought out filling port. The one con which is a game breaker is the stinkin glass keep breaking. Barely tighten it after cleaning the coil or rewicking it and it cracks.

Got the first Power Suit in Fallout 4 @Romano Cheese, now I just need to repair it.
I had the dog go get the Cryogenic gun from the starting vault but I don't have any ammo for it... What a game!

Fallout 4 = Game of the Year. I just finished it today. It's amazing.

I do actually make max VG juice, but I can make it any old way it's needed, so if that's too thick, I can thin it down.

The iSub tank's coils have the in-line holes, too, so that's why it's so easy for me to wick them. :) I just twist some rayon, "screw" it in, pull it out the other end with tweezers, jiggle back and forth a bit, then cut and clip with nail clippers and it's done. AND THEY WORK!

Can someone tell me what STM stands for? I thought it was Subtank mini, which is a Kanger mod, am I right? Or am I confused again? Is it the tank itself? I've heard a few negative things about the Kanger subtank, when compared to the iSub G tanks, but I guess ANY tank will have something that someone doesn't like. I'll be careful with the glass on the Lemo 2 and if it breaks, I'll get more. Someone else told me they have a Lemo 2 and they've never cracked the glass, so I'll just be careful and do my best. ;) At least it will get me some practice making coils.

I need some Kanthal wire, right? What's a good gauge to get, if I want to simulate the .5 ohm coil on the iSub tank? Is that in its specs somewhere on a website that sells them? And the diameter and stuff? OMG, I know nothing yet about coils other than they go around and around. ;)

STM is Subtank Mini. With making coils I find that 26 gauge is good size to work with IMO as I make mine twisted and at about .7 ohms. here is a good tool for making coils. Steam Engine | free vaping calculators Just input the info and what you are looking for as an end result.

Oh, thank you. I'd heard that mentioned before, but forgot about it. I have it saved now. :) So I can use any kind of wire, and that will tell me how many wraps it needs to be, huh? I'm sorry, you don't have to answer that, I'm just thinking out loud. I'll be reading up on the subject in depth in the coming days and weeks. Then maybe I'll come back with an intelligent question. ;)

Thanks for the link, Boden! :) I have a Disrupter. I usually run it at 20 to 30 watts (depending on the flavor) with the iSub G tanks and .5 ohm coils with rayon wicking. (I use the stock cotton wick until it's icky, then I replace it with rayon, which I like better.)
