As to the Tennessee Walkers.....I just can't do gaited horses. I am strictly western (working breeds and western pleasure type)

The difference is like riding in a Jeep cross country over rough terrain, or riding in a Cadillac on a freshly paved road. The experience is indescribable. You should try it at least once. ;)

Never ridden one, but man do they look great in a show ring! Is that you in the saddle, or just a pic you found? Also hard to beat a great quarter horse.

I hope they put all the helicopters in the hanger before this stuff hit.
I would hope so. That looks pretty rough. Hope you make it home ok. You and Debra must be on opposite weeks now.

I had a Tennessee Walker. He lived for 32 years. Here's an old pic of me giving him some of my soda.

My first horse ( aTB gelding) loved root beer! Not any other flavor, just root beer! LOL! Ah, I remember when I used to look that good in a halter top and hiphuggers... those were the days, huh? ;) GRAVITY SUCKS!

Hey, by the way, whoever it was that was asking for the recipe with yellow cake in it, was that @coolerat ? I wanted to mention, the strawberry shortcake recipe I posted, originally used sweet cream, but I was almost out when I made another batch the other day, so I used whipped cream (CAP) instead, and it's BETTER! WAY better! You wouldn't think it would make that much difference, but it seems TO ME to be much tastier with the whipped cream. So I changed my recipe. :D

I'm putting my Hillary Clinton T shirt on and I'm going to Texas.
Dear @EmmA Ems - please be nice to Rixy because he is currently demonstrating suicidal tendencies - according to the above comment, he has a desire to have about a million bullet holes in his chest.

Shadow was special... he started out with perfect Tn Walker gaits (was once upon a time a show horse) and he parked perfectly every time I stopped, could spin around on one rear leg, etc., etc., but he was pastured with a Thoroughbred female (ex race horse) and an Arab male with an attitude, so he kept trying to emulate them and started looking like a crippled rabbit. As soon as I saddled him, however, he remembered who he was and could walk faster than the others could trot or canter. All of them have long since passed on (PC for "dead and gone") and today we have two pasture bums, an Arab gelding (once upon a time a breeder) and a really old AQHA-registered quarter female (once upon a time a working ranch horse). Neither of them have been ridden for years, so it's kinda like having two extra large dogs that don't have a job to do other than looking good. The Arab can still elicit Ooohs and Aaaahs when he decides to dance across the corral.

P.S. Vape, vape mail, mod, tank, juice - just so we don't get moved to The Lounge.

I have. The person I apprenticed too for farrier work was big on gaited horses (good because I learned how to work on their feet as well....which is completely different). It just isn't my cuppa tea.

Can't do this on a gaited horse :D........

She works 7&7 and I work 14&14. Wednesday night she went home for her 7 off but I think she is suppose to be back for three days overtime starting on Monday.

My 316SS Fused came in yesterdays vapemail! That's what I was using when Griff kicked my :censored:! Wire looks great though! Can't wait until I get something actually built with it so I can actually try it!:headbang:

I clicked the wrong one, I got the normal Clapton wire this time. I've made twisted wire but I've never had the drive to buy really thin gauge just to make Clapton wire, seems like a pain in the .... I'd rather just click "Buy Now" lol

This one's different. The other one said Atchafalaya welcome center. lol!
@Debadoo , I wish I felt better too.:( But, my chicken soup turned out excellent. Hopefully I'll get to feeling better soon. I so wanted to work the past 2 days to get caught up on some stuff. I feel bad for my boss - Michelle still isn't back to work, and I'm the ONLY person that volunteered to work. :( Maybe I'll go in tomorrow.
