Feel better Rxiy, headaches can be awful.

So a question for the room. I took my Crius down and rebuilt it with a dual coil 26G Kanthal, came in at 0.55 ohm (yay subohm!) wicked with cotton (aside, building dual coils is tougher than single, everything has to be the same both sides), and filled my tank up with 5 liters ml of my fave Ry4. Top airflow off, bottom open 1/3 way. Airflow is still massive and I think I'm doing DL because there's no way I could be breathing in that much air and it staying in my mouth without looking like I have mumps. Anyway, my question for you folks is how do you do it without feeling like you're hyperventilating? I feel like I need a paper bag next to me to breathe into after each vape.

Oh, and also. Is it normal for me to not be able to see the LCD screen I'm typing on because it's become so cloudy in here?

Very normal!

For breathing, i just got used to it.

PG/VG ratio may make it difficult to breath for certain people.

Sorry, I cant explain more.

Try not to draw so hard till you get used to DL hits. Your draw should be smooth not like you need to suck the air out of the room. And screen fog is a common side effect! :D

Lol

NO!! RUN MAN, RUN AWAY!!!

:D

First, the ring at the bottom that everyone calls an AFC is really a juice feed rate controller. The more you close it down the more juice will feed to the wick.

The only way to control the air flow rate (velocity) is with a reducer insert

That's the thing below the coil. Merlin comes with one.

"how do you do it without feeling like you're hyperventilating?"

Practice my good man, practice.

That's why I like my Merlin. With the reducer in place it's a perfect MTL tank for me. This DL thing will take a little getting used to. Not sure I'm ready to change over completely yet, but it's fun to try it out

I still like to do both but I tend and prefer to DL now. But I still like using my Kayfuns, Russian 91% and Squape R too

Have you tried a smaller drip tip? You could use that to help getting started...

Now this is starting to look better. Maybe if they come down in price it might be something I would get.

They also do a form of TC now, called "coil control". Update works for all existing Radius mods

That'll be my next step. Funny thing the Crius Plus comes with a smaller Delrin tip than was on my Merlins that I had to switch out. You would expect the opposite.

I also vape off what i drip, then drop my mod in my pants pocket. IF I had an RDA that i knew would leak, I would keep it in a plastic pill bottle and mount it when i needed to use it.
They keep getting bigger and bigger, gonna need a pretty large pill bottle to hold that 40mm RDA I saw a picture of. Don't remember what it was called but the pic I saw had some crazy 8 coil build in it, and I think it could take more coils than that.

Darkness is falling? It's midnight dude.

Bear in mind, the UK is so far north that daylight hours during the summer are a lot longer than what most see in the U.S. When I was stationed there in the 90s, my oldest (who was 4 at the time) just couldn't understand why she had to go to bed when it was still daylight out. And this was well after 9pm.
