Just so they can post Fancy pics on Instagram for Followers...

But you knew that. ;)
True, I've spoken with M.Terk and Dwayne (don't remember his nickname) they freely admit the super silly art coils are for looking at.

People buy fancy coils for silly money. I'm starting to think it's a one sale business. Get enough people to buy something once and you can make money for a short time.

Here's the thing that truly fascinates me. Earlier today I was down at the vape shop. I made some coils for the manager to put in her limitless because the build she had in it was all wrong. Some kind of twisted silliness that was nasty with gunk. It kinda blew her mind that a simple parallel build was so much better than any of the fancy wire she had tried. This isn't a noob, she's been vaping almost as long as I have.

It's almost like when people hear a marketing pitch they just go "Okay, I'll take three". Doesn't seem to matter if the pitch breaks several basic laws of physics.

Was in the city tonite and stopped at a vape shop.

TFV8 is well outside my norm but somehow it followed me home.

I'm actually getting amazing flavor off this. I'm very surprised. Best I've ever had I think.

The cloudz are well beyond insane at 100w. Coils is rated at 260w.

Using 3mg and think I'm starting to turn a little the other way.

Really? Huh... This is what I got

Nope I don't have the wide bore Drip Tip and my package was factory sealed just like smokes are with the plastic tear strip wrapper.

I contacted my seller to see if iJoy has changed the contents.

This review here posted a few days ago shows it without the drip tip as well. The contents list has 3 "twised" (Chinglish) Kanthal coils included but mine came with 2 Claptons like in his pictures.

Limitless RDTA Plus by Ijoy

iJoy must have changed things around.

What size are you cutting your drip tips to? I am going to have to find a wide bore one that fits as I don't care much for the 510 reducer.

The one it comes with is 12.5mm but it's silly tight. I made mine 12mm.

Far beyond my skill set, but a good idea. With the impending doom, I won't throw the thing away, but for now, it is going back in a drawer. I just put a Clapton in it, it worked on the meter, but as soon as I put on a mod, it shorted out. I just think it's crap (can I say crap?).
Beyond mine also.......but I know when to ask questions of those who do know this kinda stuff! ;) hey fellas.........what size screws does she need for that thing, I done forgot now what it was..... and do ya have a link to FT or someplace for the exact one? lol If FT doesn't have em, I know bolt depot is usually a lot cheaper than McMaster Carr.

I had noticed this before but didn't say anything. Folks say not to heat your coils beyond that cherry red flavor there. And I notice that the ends of the coils aren't lit up. That happens even with my 8 wrap coils, to get the whole coil to heat up, ya have to heat til they're orange. Is it better to just not heat til the whole coil is glowing and not go beyond the cherry color? I'm using only SS 316L now.

Now your L+ came with a wide bore drip tip? Mine just came with the 510 adapter. There must be different versions out there.
that's weird.

Really enjoying the single coil setup in these, still plenty of flavor and vapor but better battery life (the resistance I build) and the juice doesn't get sucked up as much. Still never had a dry hit, those wicks are always fully saturated.
Quiet you!! You keep makin me want one. I am emailing with Eric at Origin where I won the cuboid to see if we can figure out the problem or how to fix it. We did just find out that if you plug it in with the usb port, it'll come on, but on freshly charged batts, the two lil batt meters say the batts are dead. Not sure why or what that means, or if it's fixable or not. Not asking him to replace it, cuz I won it. But just hoping he could come up with something I hadn't thought of to get it to work.

I just ordered one from SubTank Supply for $27.59 with the coupon code TENOFF.
oh wow......in a few months, if I start talkin about getting one, please remind me of this!!

Ummm.. resistance has very very very little to do with battery drain. Set wattage on the other hand is really all that matters.
I just meant the lower the resistance the more power is needed, the quicker the battery drains.

This is one of those questions that has two answers. The simple don't go past deep red with SS and a much more complex one.

Why would you want the whole coil to glow?

Sorry, that's one of those general knowledge false generalizations that bugs me. Lower resistance = more power is true in some cases but false in others. My two 1.4ohm coil builds don't really get started until they are producing ~70W of heat each (140W combined). The 0.35ohm single coil build in my Serpent mini does nicely at 24W.

Took my Crius Plus out with me for the first time, leaked all in my pocket, no idea why.. I don't expect to turn off the juice control and close the airflow because it's in my pocket but looks like I'll have too.
Going to clean it up and rewick, although, there was nothing wrong with them to start with, hmmm, those big coils, the wicks did press on the sides when I screwed it on, maybe that was it. Time for some parallels in there !

Is it hot out today? Expanding air in the tank kinda thing?

I checked the wicks and everything was fine, it's 66F so not hot at all, had my nike bottoms on so the pockets are quite big, I think the tank was on it's side, I have no idea but juice came pouring out the AFC. I've left the same coils and wicks in, I cba to mess with it, washed it all out and put back together and it seems fine. I will just shut of the juice control in future, probably user error.
I'm getting annoyed though at the statements I keep hearing about the big chamber reduces flavor, it's absolute rubbish, the coils sit pretty near the top of the chamber and the chimney that screws onto it is very small, the distance between the coils and the drip tip is very short for a tank this size, which explains the better flavor compared to other 25mm RTA's.

I want to apologize to everyone. If I seem a bit grumpy one of my ex partners has sucked me back into his little business but I think he's marketed beyond what he can produce. This is the problem when a marketer who's good at selling things with half-truths becomes in charge of an engineering team. I jumped in to see if I could save their jobs but unfortunately I think they're SOL.

This makes me sad for them. And grumpy about half-truths.

Sorry if that frustration leaks out here.

No problem Boden, your a good chap ! You seemed fine to me, pointed out some things to me but I'm still learning so I like being told straight, that's how we learn..
It's a shame about their jobs, as they probably have families to support.. You a saint compared to when my frustrations overflow on here, geez, I'm a full on drama Kween......(katdarling lingo ha)

Iv heard that aswell Rixsta, 25mm Tanks are not made for Flavor.

I just ignore it like iv ignored all the other crap before.... ;) As long if it's good for ME!
There is some true in it but not for the Crius Plus, the dam coils are seated more than halfway up the tank lol Clever design.
Have you seen the modfather RTA, looks like a nice tank but no JFC on a 9ml Boreas, well that's basically what it is, a bigger Boreas with no JFC. I was going to get one for my Litt up 44 mod next month but I dunno..
