mod came, stunning mod, if you can afford one, get one, no polishing needed on this at all. So nice in the hand, like a posh lost vape therion. Simply the best looking mod on the market today.

So where are the pics you ask ?

Well, one of the battery holes in the wood was not machined properly and the battery wouldn't fit so I had to send it back.

It's not all bad though, they are sending me the more expensive one as a kind gesture, I've seen a pic of it and this one is even more stunning.

Just a pain I have to wait until next week now but at least my Vandy Vape Kensei has shipped so I will have the complete setup next week

Don't let that put you off though, if your gonna treat yourself, I'd have no hesitation recommending the boost Kodama, they really are gorgeous.

Well done Smok, finally a good sub ohm tank that actually wicks properly and has very good flavor.

TFV12 Prince, not only does it look good, vape good, it holds a decent amount of juice and not a hint of the word baby anywhere.

This had replaced my Uwell Valyrian for my out and about tank.

The X6 coil is fantastic, these are their best coils to date by far but of course I'll be picking up the rba for it.

The wait for the Kodama continues, hopefully my new one will be here next Tuesday.

VV Kensei is due in tomorrow though

I find these ijoy 20700 work great at high wattage, I seem to grab the captain because at 100w, it lasts for most of the day.

Im waiting for a Yihi g class 20700, I have seen the new mod from ginger vaper but not too keen on the silicone battery cover. (Same chip)

I predicted these batteries would replace the 18650s some time ago, I think next year should be interesting.

I agree... 20700s are a solid upgrade already, and this is a first generation stab at 'em. I only see them getting better!

In fact, I'm at a point that I will (almost) not consider a mech unless it's 20700. It has to be something REALLY special for me to even look at 18650.

What a trip. I used to love Sigelei mods because they were so utilitarian and built like tanks. Not like this is necessarily a bad device. The thing is about $33 from MVS including the RDTA and it goes 50W-200W. It's just exactly opposite of what I liked about the brand.

Yup yup, if I do vape a different mod thats 18650 it's usually a Minikin as they have great battery life.

Trouble is none of these batteries were designed for vaping, (as far as I know).18650's in torches, 20700 are in some small power tools, Ijoy 20700 are just rewraps of something else, designed for something else lol

There is a big wide open market for an actual vaping company to make and design powerful batteries solely for vaping mods...but we seem far behind with battery technology and have been for years so I'm not sure that is even possible, I'm no battery expert.

There's a lot of money to be made though if/when somebody can

Also if a powerful battery could be made but half the size we would have some dam fine mods too.

Out of the blue I been on a TC kick.

Engine Nano as a tootle puffer being the focus.

With SS it kind varies and so far I don't like it. Works fine in wattage but TC is all over the place. Wismec is ok, never burns but kinds weak. Ijoy about the same, little worse. Wife's Kaos I'm not sure works at all and if so poorly. She won't set her Agis down long enough for me to experiment. DNA 200 doesn't work at all, one puff will be weak and the next will torch the wick.

So back to nickel. Didn't think I'd ever use nickel again but I'm glad I did. Todays tanks make it much easier then before. The Nano loves it some nickel. Wismec and Ijoy handle nickel well. Dna 200 does pretty good with it, not as good as the others but good. But in comes the old SX Mini M class. (mine does not have the TCR update) and the SX is just bang on with nickel. God the Nano is just hitting like a dream

So now of coarse some money needs to change hands. What can a Yihi 500 chip do for me?? V-Boy on the waaaaayyyyyyyyyyyyyy...................

Which could lead to a Rebel Yihi powered squonker. But I'm not sure. I contacted Redel Vapes about my dead DNA mod. Just asked if it had any warrenty. I wasn't a dick about it and was quiet willing to accept it if they wouldn't help. Well they got back to me and said sorry about the trouble and could I give then the order number which I did. Then nothing. Just nothing. Kinda pisses me off honestly.

Yep. But using a straightened paper clip inserted through the airflow slot gets the deck to be still. Once it's built, the vape is wowsers.

There's room for some fat coils in that chamber, too.
