Wish me luck today, Em's bought a mural for the bedroom wall, not a small one, it covers the entire wall from floor to ceiling, it's of a view, stepping out onto a tropical beach...She said it would be nice to wake up too.
Of course, it's in 8 sections, got to prime the wall, mark the wall to have level lines centre, apply wallpaper paste, allow soaking time, hang and overlap 3mm to allow for shrinkage.
I have to do it today with Emily, I fear the worst, I'm not looking forward to it at all !

I will post pics of the amazing results or the laughable attempt.

Once I start, there is no going back as I have to sand the wall to allow the paste to stick, that wall at the moment has a gloss finish paint on it.

Emily said her usual, oh, we'll be fine ! Yeah, OK......

those are soooooooo kewl! And the beach......couldn't ask for a better mural! But wow, good luck! No way would I ever be able to do that. I can't even hang a picture straight. I see things lopsided. Dunno if its the astigmatism or what, but I look at a round supper plate, and it looks oval to me.

No it wouldn't be, I won't be drinking....maybe when it's do to celebrate or drown my sorrows.

Wall sanded, washed, plume line done, perfectly straight + marked out which is the most important part, Emily had to go and get the kids, it's great because the school just think it's Emma..

The mural was bigger than we thought, its 3.8 meters long, Em orders these things and goes to work and leaves me to do it, just taking it slow, gonna take hours and hours

BBQ tonight, Emily is cooking, woohoo. Got some Kentucky Bourbon BBQ glaze to coat the chicken with. Then kids to bed and we can sit down and have a few drinks together and chilax.

Hope y'all like it ! Still got to trim the top and bottom and around the plug socket but the hard work is done now..
