After the success of the Mouserizer, I figured another portable mod was in order. I'm also into Airsoft, so when evike.com sent me a box of "goodies", one of the items was an aluminum tactical flashlight. Great, this looks good for a mod.
So, I took it apart. It takes 2 CR123 batteries. So first thing I did was dig up a few at Radioshack before going whole hog and investing in some li-ion versions (6v total), or even going down to a 3.7v 18650. The next issue I had was a lack of battery connector for my 510/LB88 atomizers. Well, that turned out to not be a problem. I could simply use the center post of the bulb connector, and then simply tap the opening at the top where the bulb screwed in. So off I went. Since this particular flashlight already had a momentary switch on the bottom, it seemed like a perfect fit. No indicator LED, but at 6v with two CR123's you don't need it. You can really hear that atty sizzle.
So, I present, the YAFM, or Yet Another Flashlight Mod.
