Just a lil update with the early version of the 50 watt upgrade I got. I think this was mentioned by another member already but I am noticing on my unit that if the batteries are taken out of the mod for a little bit it looses all the presets except the one it was on when I pulled the batteries. When I put the batts in it came back on to setting 3 at 42 watts I had set but 1, 2, 4 and 5 where all back to default. Have noticed this the 2 times I had the batteries out of it. Does the official version fix this or is it the same version that I originally got?

Ok, just because they upgrade it to 80w does not mean you have to find a bigger battery. I mean really, who here vapes over 20 watts? So my point is, build your mod around your level of vape. I would suggest dual sony vtc 4 or 5 and you will be ok or the purple enfests from Welcome to VariTube.com - A Better Alternative to Smoking

Why drive 75 mph. 55 mph is safer and you get to the same place. lol

I vape a mech with a 0.2 ohm build every morning and after dinner. Thats around 88 watts. I would love one device to do both. The rest of the time is a kayfun at 10w to 15w. I think people are crazy that do 100w or 200w but someone will do it. lol I pass on that one. A dual sony would do it but we have many ways to do it now.

TruckerMSA,
What size did you drill the round hole for the screen in your latest wood mod? That is a very good looking mod for sure.

I used a 5/8th forstner bit but it's a lil big, I need to get the next smaller size and I think it will be the right size.

Thanks for the info on the hole size. I think the round hole really looks good and it breaks up some of the "square" look on a box mod.
