I was looking forward to getting this APV. However, I am having issues. I use the Vivi Nova Mini exclusively. Either I have a defective one, or I am missing something. I get no draw when I attach the VV Nova, I have to loosen it almost 50 percent to get a draw. Same with a cartomizer.

I was told I needed an adapter for it to function correctly. Does this seem right to anyone?

Feedback is appreciated.

I believe there is some kinda airfeed on the bottom of the miniNova... I have seen people complain of this before. Just for grins, a buddy gave me a 510-ego adapter, and I have been running that on my Lambo, which is similar to yours. It seems to have prevented that for me...

Thanks, I did make an error, it is the Lambo 4.0 I have. Just not happy I have to use an adapter, and I would of liked some warning that a very popular tank would "require" an adapter. My Provari seems to handle it fine.

its the center pin on the tube blocking the hole...same problem with new young june with the spring loaded center pin.

Not necessarily. I am not having any problems with my YJ and Vivi V2.5's I even have the traditional ego to 3.5 tank support screwed into the JY.
I noticed the center post on the Vivi is out more than most normally seem to be. maybe that is allowing better flow.

Also no problem with my Smoke Vivi or Boge F-16 tanks

Edit: looked it up and the tank support is type D sleeve. This JY tube works fine with or without but I keep it on to support the Smoktech Vivi's sloppy threads

I know what you mean about the Vivi post. What I meant was the newest YJ (and I mean newest, not last months V2.0) have a similar floating center pin which is spring loaded similar to the LR. It needs an adapter or an EGo skirt.

OK, you have the YJ VV 5.0 Not al latest model but another variation to compete with Lava tube.
Mine is Model 2.1 and still in regular production.

BOTH YJ And Lava Tube have Screwed up with the floating pin Design. It is Perfect for Custom Tanks with Side venting and no bottom opening. Genesis/Cobra/etc. However it really messes up on through hole clearo/carto designs.
They both should include a 510 adapter or increase the diameter of the center pin to stop blockage.

I have no issues with any carto or tank system I have tried on my YJ. I am pretty sure the YJ does not have a floating pin. The L rider does though.

newest YJ does

Yes, the newest production run black chrome Young June, which I received as a free replacement for my earlier black chrome YJ (that went looney-tunes and began firing on its own) does indeed have a spring-loaded, floating positive pin. I haven't encountered any troubles with the connector yet, but time will tell.
