oh and one more thing the water is nasty, it literally was brown the last time i worked. the general manager said it was a chlorine imbalance, yet right. it was gross and he didnt want to do anything about it. they are making product with brown water.

I'm so sorry you lost your job for vaping (how stupid), but I do want to thank you for reminding me why I have my own milk cows. They seriously still put swill water in commercial milk to "cut" it?

i do not believe they actually put water into the milk, that's illegal and causes low "solids". what does happen is that the silos, separators, HTST, receiving lines, load out lines are all washed with that nasty brown or green water. the water does end up in the product to a degree. washing a silo with discolored water and then putting product in that slio, gross

Next time vape in the bathroom or stockroom and exhale into the front of your shirt.

I'm sorry you got fired. You do yourself a favor and get away from smoking and still can't be looked at in a positive way. I get real tired of people.
i haven't been a smoker in 3+ years. that's another issue, they told me that corp had determined that smoking and vaping were the same thing......absurd

there is a nice warm place down under for these types of people

Wow. Between this and the other things you mentioned about the company, I am just curious why it all seemed "okay" to you while you were receiving a paycheck.........but now that you're not, you're suddenly willing to turn them in for all these things you acquiesed to while you were employed.

Something is wrong with our society, indeed.

I have been told it starts with each *individual*.

i never said it was OK, far from it.... i cannot count how many applications i have filled out in a years time. i was trying to not match my pay but come close it, now it doesn't matter i just need a job. while your working somewhere you kind of just keep your mouth shut and do your job, after loosing a job that all goes out the window

I remember your posts about this in past months.
If I remember right, you were warned about vaping on company property.
I think your boss or someone made a snarky comment once about how
you should just quit vaping.
It was clear months ago that you were working for ANTZ. You knew
you had to get out of there so you were looking for another job.
So WHY did you find the need to continue vaping openly on company property?
I don't agree with their logic at all, however they were perfectly justifiable
in letting you go, and you are darn lucky they have stated they won't
fight your unemployment claim.
Good luck - a good paying job is getting harder and harder to find.

so i was expected to go from noon sometime until 9pm, sounds like i should have quit the job the minute that they modified their policy multiple times. had they told me that this was their intention when they offered me the job i would have declined the job in the first place. i kept working there my fault. i told them on my way out the door they need to disclose this nonsense with anyone else they hire when they start the hiring process, give that person ample time to decide if they want to put up with it. if i was told to go across the street i would have, they gave no alternative place to go. if everyone went home and i was alone, who cares anyways. its all about control, i dont accept that.

yes i was wrong but so were they

why cant people be left alone?

I can understand being upset over being fired, but..........

I have worked a number of jobs in different industries over my career, large corporations and small businesses. Thank goodness I am retired now! I have been in the position of trainee to owner, and most everything in between. I can only recall one that had NO policy changes during my employment, but I was only on that job 3 months. In reality, any expectation of no workplace or policy changes over the course of a year or years would be unreasonable, particularly in this day and age. My last employment went from being in receivership and through 3 different owners in 8 short years. Talk about a ton of policy changes!

I understand what you are feeling, but turn that anger into the drive of finding another job. Bust your :censored: in your job search and set your sights high. There's always that chance of this being the push you needed to move on to bigger and better things. Good luck!

Oh! And if you truly want to be "left alone", do not entertain the thought of going into business yourself! :)
