Sadly it's like most everything else in the world. All you have to do is follow the money. Like NATO countries being so concerned about the human rights of the poor (oil rich) Libyans. Where is the concern of Southeast Asia's human rights isues? Oh, that's right, the countries most affected usually produce rice and a narcotics trade the power brokers can't control.

Want to know where the next war or "global concern" will be? Find where the oil, precious metals and other finite resources are and you wont miss a thing.

To true Major . You hit the nail on the head.
It always boils down to .... MONEY.

If e-cigs did not cut in to the profits of the tobacco industry . If they did not reduce amount of taxes that governments rake in . If there was not a rapidly growing market for e-cigs. Then there would be no problem whatsoever !

In a state of Athens (Lavrio) police seized all the liquids from 3 stores. Same happened to another town of Greece, ksanthi. They already started to do the dirty work. Big stores in Greece will have a huge problem very very soon. Who knows what will happen next

I'm starting to worry that the Oddyseus may be your swan song -- they won't shut you down as a manufacturer of PVs, will they? You have to be one of the few growing industries there, or anywhere in the EU...........

I will not have a problem for sure but other sellers that import e-cigs from China will close their stores. I hope this silly situation to stop as soon as possible. Many people spend already enough money to make their stores and suddenly the cov desided one day to close all of them at once. The only I can say is that I hate all those .......ing people and I would like to see them in the bottom of the lake

Is greek police and government going crazy? They can't decide a new law on Friday afternoon and close shops on Monday morning! It would be more than enough to make controls of prohibited stuff not to be sold.

Beside that, this law is nonsens. Greek people can still buy nic liquid everywhere in the EU without controls at the customs, can't they?

of course they can buy via internet gredie. The worst thing is not for Greek vapers but for the Greek stores. But Greek vapers will have a big problem too. Not too many of them know what internet is. There are old people after 40-45 years old that doesnt know how to use a PC.

This situation will be a big hit to Greek stores and Greek vapers too. gov has no serious job to do as I see it. Its only concern is to beat e-cigs? Country has so many economy problems right now and they want to make it worse and without a serious reason? I am sure that its a plan to make Greece go down. After this other countries will follow. Politicians are pigs that sell their country to some rich people that rule the world. Its more than obvious to me and to other Greek and foreign people.

As for the gov, yes they are crazy and silly and many more other things. The best thing is that they left only Saturday and Sunday to Greek stores to be prepared, the days that noone works here!! If this isnt a plan, then what is?

I share your obvious deep love of todays politicians Imeo, the country they abuse doesn't matter, they are the same the world over, self-serving and will sell out their country without a second thought if it lines their own pockets. Blair and Brown did so much damage here it's untrue, it's also irreversible damage that will only worsen with passing time.

The EU is allegedly planning a wholesale ban on ecigs anyway, rumour at the moment but not unsubstantiated. They also (allegedly) want to ban internet sales and cross border sales of nicotine liquid. Mind you, after Cameron using his veto on Friday and the emerging threats of a backlash and use of force by the EU it's looking like there's a glimmer of hope that we won't be a part of it much longer (personal opinion obviously). Well it was cheaper than a referendum anyway ;)

Sorry about the nicotine situation there man, very short-sighted but then again is it? Or is it a callous, calculated move to raise revenue on tobacco taxation. They don't care about the human cost of what they are doing, just the euros.. It's a shame, I have loved Greece for many years, my No1 holiday destination for when I just want to chill out and de-stress, beautiful places there, good people and a very relaxed atmosphere compared to the UK.

Hope you get it sorted..

You should! Then I can come hang out at your house

Seriously didn't anyone figure out that socialism doesn't work? I mean only the entire last century should have taught us that. Redistribute the wealth among the masses, except for the elite in charge... who are bought by whoever is willing to pay them the most.

But Hey, maybe it will work this time...
